Supermodels are generally thought to hover in the 6ft range as the taller a woman is, the better the clothes look on the body.

That means if you are a short woman, you can stand next to an even shorter man or a tiny chair to appear taller. Camera angles also play a part.
And designers do not mind casting shorter models in their campaigns as they can doctor the images as well.
