AMY SCHUMER, 44

Amy Schumer has lost about 40lbs by taking the GLP-1 weight loss drug Mounjaro which is very similar to Ozempic.

When she wore a red dress to pal Kim Kardashian’s All’s Fair premiere in New York City on Tuesday, her fans were very impressed as they said she looked like she was ‘in her twenties again.’

The Trainwreck star has been open about her weight loss journey. In March she took to social media to share her positive experience with Mounjaro.

The mother-of-one praised the brand, adding that it’s worked for her better than its competitor Wegovy.

She admitted to taking Ozempic in June 2023 but stopped due to the side effects. ‘I was one of those people who felt so sick,’ she said.

Schumer has said it’s an open secret in Hollywood that Ozempic is in wide use and many stars lie about how they slimmed down.

‘Everyone’s like, “smaller portions,”‘ she joked. ‘Shut the f*** up. You’re on Ozempic or one of those things.’

GOLNESA ‘GG’ GHARACHEDAGHI, 43

GG of Shahs Of Sunset fame lost weight in 2023 when she started taking Ozempic.

The reality TV siren went from 138lbs to 110lbs, which she felt like was too low.

‘When I started semaglutide shots, I was 138 lbs. Now, I’m about 110 lbs. As you can see, I’ve lost a little more weight than I was anticipating to lose,’ she said two years ago.

‘I decided I’m only gonna weigh myself on the days of my injections just to document it. And on April 30, I got on the scale and I saw 111 lbs. That’s when I knew, it’s time to cut back.’

The brunette said she was ‘enjoying the way I look. ‘

And then she encouraged her fans who were having a hard time losing weight to try it.

Gharachedaghi added that she had not experienced any side effects. ‘Anytime anybody loses a lot of weight really fast, the skin just kinda droops down a little… as you can see, it did not affect my face.’

SERENA WILLIAMS, 44

In August tennis legend Serena Williams shared the secret behind her dramatic body transformation.

The 43-year-old revealed that she had shed 31lbs over the course of the past year.

But the 23-time Grand Slam winner had a helping hand as she admitted that she was using weight loss drug Zepbound, a GLP-1 medication.

GLP-1 is a natural hormone that helps regulate blood sugar and appetite that is found in popular weight loss medication brands such as Ozempic, Wegovy and Mounjaro as well as Zepbound.

Williams’ admission came just weeks after her post-workout gym selfies, which showed off her ripped physique. This images sparked speculation that she had been using another popular drug, Ozempic.

KELLY CLARKSON, 43

Kelly Clarkson has been taking a weight loss drug that is not Ozempic, but she won’t say which one it is.

‘Mine is a different one than people assume,’ she said on The Kelly Clarkson Show in May 2024. ‘Everybody thinks it’s Ozempic, it’s not. It’s something else, but it’s something that aids in helping break down sugar. Obviously, my body doesn’t do it right,’ she added.

The Stronger singer said she decided to start the medication after her bloodwork became concerning.

Her doctor had been encouraging her for about two years to take medication, despite her initial fear due to existing thyroid problems.

Speaking to People in early 2024, she said a healthier diet and exercise routine helped her lose weight. ‘I eat a healthy mix.’

Her weight has seemed to be on her mind for a long time. In 2015, she told Redbook, ‘There are just some people who are born skinny and with a great metabolism — that is not me.’

She told The Sunday Times: ‘Someone like me could have a bottomless appetite for sweets, so I think those drugs can be good.’

Wilson says that she has since regained 20lbs due to stress but is trying to get back to a sensible diet.

MEGHAN TRAINOR, 31

Meghan Trainor has been open about her dramatic weight loss after the birth of her second child.

In a March 2025 Instagram post, the All About That Bass hitmaker explained Mounjaro was partially responsible for her new figure.

‘I’ve been on a journey to be the healthiest, strongest version of myself for my kids and for me,’ she captioned the post.

‘I’ve worked with a dietician, made huge lifestyle changes, started exercising with a trainer, and yes, I used science and support (shoutout to Mounjaro!) to help me after my 2nd pregnancy. And I’m so glad I did because I feel great.’

Speaking on her podcast, Workin’ On It, Trainor said she began taking Mounjaro because doctors recommended it.

‘We heard more of our friends and even our doctors were on Mounjaro and Ozempic and all these drugs,’ she said.

OPRAH WINFREY, 71

Oprah Winfrey has admitted to using ‘weight loss medication.’

The former talk show host, who used to be over 200lbs, is now hovering around 160lbs.

In December, Winfrey — who gave up her job as an ambassador for WeightWatchers — admitted to using ‘weight loss medication.’

She told People magazine: ‘The fact that there’s a medically approved prescription for managing weight and staying healthier, in my lifetime, feels like relief, like redemption, like a gift, and not something to hide behind and once again be ridiculed for. I’m done with the shaming.’

The Beverly Hills, 90210 star shared on her MisSPELLING podcast that she used injections to help drop the pounds.

The Tori & Dean: Inn Love reality TV star was prescribed Mounjaro.

The blonde actress reached 160lbs when she was pregnant for the fifth time. And she had difficulty losing weight after she gave birth.

Spelling said her normal weight hovers are 120lbs.

‘I’m no longer on it, but I did lose weight,’ she said, adding that she stopped using the injections around January 2024. She also said she tried Ozempic but it didn’t feel right for her.

SHARON OSBOURNE, 73

Sharon Osbourne has been open about using Ozempic.

The former reality TV star said she lost 42lbs thanks to the medication.

She told The Daily Mail: ‘Last December, I resorted to injecting myself with Ozempic… I lost 42lb — that’s 3st — but it was too much. Now, I weigh just over 7st. I need to put on 10lb but, however much I eat, I stay the same weight.’

At certain times the widow of Ozzy Osbourne has looked frail, like she did at the rock star’s July funeral.

In the past, she has tried several different methods for losing weight, with one being  getting a gastric band.

KATHY BATES, 77

Kathy Bates has gotten so thin that she is barely recognizable.

The Matlock actress first shed 80lbs thanks to changing her diet and exercising more often.

Bates started making lifestyle changes in 2017, after being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. In 2019, she celebrated losing 60lbs telling Us Weekly, ‘It took a few years. I would say you have to be really patient … I don’t like the word willpower, but I like the word determination.’

When the star wanted to lose 20lbs more but couldn’t she turned to Ozempic.

In 2024 Bates told People that she was far from lazy about her weight loss: ‘I have to impress upon people out there that this was hard work for me, especially during the pandemic. It’s very hard to say you’ve had enough,’ she said.

The actress said in another People interview that losing weight made working in front of the camera much easier. ‘Now that I’ve been able to get really healthy, I can move, I can breathe, I can have fun, I’m not sore,’ she said.
