Shirley Ballas insisted she has not had a facelift as she revealed her jaw-dropping transformation on Tuesday.
The Strictly Come Dancing head judge, 65, admitted she feels 20 years younger as she showed off the results of a amazing non-surgical facelift.
Shirley has splashed out a massive £4,400 on high-tech aesthetic procedures including a course of NeoGen nitrogen plasma treatments from top Harley Street doctor, Dr Johanna Ward.
After seven months of procedures, the BBC star looks younger than ever as she showcased her transformation gushing that she feels more ‘confident’ and ready to appear on Strictly which launches on Saturday.
Shirley revealed: ‘I was on Instagram posting pictures of myself celebrating my 65th birthday with my mum a week ago and several women made rude comments saying, “your mum looks amazing but of course you’ve had so much work done Shirley, facelifts and all”.
‘Well, I need to set the record straight here – I haven’t had any surgical facelifts of any kind, at any time. I mean, you can tell I’ve got no stitches or scars.’

Shirley has insisted she has not had a facelift as she talks about how she looks so youthful
Since the start of the year Shirley has undergone a course of six NeoGen nitrogen plasma treatments at the W1 Skin Clinic, in London.
The procedure is completely non-invasive and works by tricking the body into producing high levels of collagen and elastin, key proteins that create youthful and radiant skin.
It’s not the first time Shirley has used these treatments but she explained how the results have been life-changing.
She said: ‘I never thought at 65 I would feel the way I feel about myself. When I hit 60, I was dreading the inevitable decline of my appearance, I had dark blotches on my skin, my skin looked tired, jowls were starting to fall, and I started to panic so I started to research all the different treatments that one can do.’
Looking at her before and after treatment pictures, Shirley said: ‘Now when I look in the mirror, I see this fresh face. It’s not a little difference. It’s a huge difference.
‘I find my jawline is more defined. I don’t have all those spots all over my face. My skin looks brighter. There’s not a mark on my forehead. And my neck looks so much better. I mean, I think that’s impressive.’
Shirley continued: ‘I think my investment within Neogen and Dr Johanna Ward has been worth it I’ve become a little bit of an addict to my NeoGen treatments, as well as taking my collagen supplements, and the skin creams that Dr Ward has prescribed.
‘I feel like my skin could probably pass for around 45, and I’m really proud that I stuck to my regime and that I treated myself.’

She added: ‘It’s not cheap but I think it’s a worthwhile investment in yourself. Before I started having these treatments, I was really getting down because my skin was sagging. My jawline wasn’t defined. I was really getting myself in a place where I didn’t feel great about myself.
‘I thought, that’s it now, you’re over the hill, but now when I look in the mirror, I see this fresh face and my confidence has been restored, and so it’s been worth every penny.’
Shirley’s low energy NeoGen treatments had very little down-time between sessions so it did not get in the way of her busy work schedule.
The dance legend said: ‘I’m constantly working so I can’t have any period of downtime but with these low energy treatments I might have a slight bit of redness the next day but it’s nothing you can’t cover up with some makeup and it doesn’t last.
‘As regards the pain, it’s not totally pain-free but it’s bearable. Dr. Johanna Ward puts on a numbing cream for about 20 minutes to 30 minutes. She’s chatting away to me, as she’s doing the treatments, which take about half an hour, and before you know it, it’s finished.
‘It is a little bit uncomfortable because I’m a bit of a wimp basically, but I’ve gotten used to it, and I actually don’t mind it now because I know what results I’m going to get.’
Shirley also revealed that she wasn’t sure about the procedure at first but after seeing results following the second and third session she was thrilled.
Meanwhile Dr Johanna Ward explained that the non-surgical procedure ‘works on all skin types and tones’.

Dr Ward said: ‘NeoGen is unique because it doesn’t just treat the surface of the skin – it penetrates deeper layers, triggering natural regeneration.
‘With Shirley we used a lower energy setting to allow her to continue with her busy work schedule, meaning minimal downtime but steady improvement after each session. Over time, the cumulative effects can be extraordinary.
‘The beauty of NeoGen is that it works on all skin types and tones, unlike some traditional lasers or peels. That makes it a safe and effective option for a wide range of patients.’
This weekend Strictly Come Dancing’s new series kicks off and as Shirley returns to the Ballroom, she said she is already planning how to look good for next year’s show in 2026.
She added: ‘I start again the minute Strictly is over and give myself enough time for the Neogen treatments to get an amazing result, to make sure I look fabulous next year too. But I can also just move to having maintenance treatments just every three months or so.’
It comes after Shirley looked sensational as she posed up a storm at the luxurious four-star Juicy Oasis hotel during her fitness retreat in Portugal earlier this summer.
She showcased her age-defying figure in a stylish multi-coloured bikini as she soaked up the sun following a day packed with wellness activities.
Her chic swimwear featured a structured bikini top and matching high-waisted bottoms, perfectly highlighting her toned physique.
Shirley appeared on cloud nine as she swept her brunette locks into a ponytail and went makeup-free for a relaxing dip.
Sharing the sizzling snaps to Instagram, she wrote: ‘All activities complete long and rewarding day, ready for my juice and bedtime yoga. @jasonvale @juicemasterretreats Best place on earth.’
