Shaynna Blaze officially dropped her debut single Warrior on Friday.
The Block judge, 61, stunned followers when she released a lyric video alongside her new song to Instagram, drumming up buzz for her foray into music.
‘At last! Warrior is out now. Link in my bio to download & stream, and a lyric video so you can sing along,’ she captioned the track which was co-written by Gary Pinto.
‘Did you think that you wouldn’t be hearing from me? Took my time, built my fight, now I’m stating my piece,’ the song began.
‘Listen up to the truth, sit when I speak. Are you afraid of my voice? It’ll make you weak.’

Touted by Shaynna as a mix of ‘jazz, acid jazz, soul and funk’, the high energy tune featured a chorus in which the interior designer claimed she was a ‘warrior’.
‘Let my words be my war, don’t you know that I’m a warrior. Stand tall, don’t you know that I’m a warrior. ‘Cause I’m a warrior. ‘Cause I’m a warrior,’ she sang.
It comes after Shaynna revealed in an Instagram video on Thursday she doesn’t see music as a reinvention, but a long-overdue return to her music career.

‘There’s lots of reasons why music was on the backburner for me. Initially it was my family. I just wasn’t making enough money to support them,’ she said.
‘It was about getting other avenues of income… You just don’t make a lot of money.’
Shaynna shares two children, Jesse and Carly, with her first husband, and has previously said she worked as a jazz singer for 10 years to try and support them.

‘I used to sing when they were young. I’d put them to bed, go to sing and then come back, and my parents would look after them,’ she said.
‘But it got to the stage where my daughter was 14 or 15, she was going out to parties. And I was like, “I think I need to be around.”‘
Shaynna shocked fans last month when she revealed she would be releasing her ‘very first’ music single called Warrior.
‘It’s quite a different style. I love jazz, I love acid jazz, I love soul, I love funk. So it’s a combination of all of those with a very big high grade energy,’ she said of the track.
