was left horrified after her baby daughter Sofia was nearly hit on the head by a falling curtain rail.

The Love Island star, 32, claimed the near-dangerous incident was caused by poorly finished work done at her mother's home in Kent.

Taking to her social media, she shared a clip of the shocking moment, which was captured by a camera.

Shaughna was relaxing on the sofa with both her children, Lucia, three and Sofia, six months, whom she shares with boyfriend Billy Webb, when the incident took place.

She was luckily cradling Sofia in her arms when the curtain rail came crashing down off the wall and onto the couch.

Pieces of debris were captured flying across the room as Shaughna managed to quickly move her baby to safety.

Shaughna Phillips was left horrified after her baby daughter Sofia was nearly hit on the head by a falling curtain rail

Taking to her social media, she shared a clip of the shocking moment, which was captured by a camera

In horror and shock, the star could be heard yelling 'f***ing hell', as she came to terms with what happened.

Explaining the scary ordeal, Shaughna said her mum had new windows put in the living room and alleged that a 'huge crack' formed from the works.

Alongside the clip, she penned: 'I have absolutely no words…

'We've been asking for this to be fixed for months, an operative came out and plastered over the huge crack without actually fixing it.

'We complained while he was still here (because he refused to do anything else).'

'His boss said "No that's not good enough it needs to be properly fixed". This was weeks ago, this has been months of telling surveyors, managers, operatives.

'Tonight it was millimetres from hitting my baby. If I hadn't moved her out the way seconds before, falling debris would've hit her straight in the face.

'I am so angry that things like this are just left and no one takes accountability from the planners all the way up to the managers.

'Thank god we're not on our way up to A&E tonight.'

David Lewis, Executive Group Director, Property and Investment at L&Q told the Daily Mail: 'We're very sorry for the problems Mrs Phillips has experienced with improvement work in her home, and the time it has taken to put things right.

'Our team has been in touch to offer support, and visited earlier today to securely fix the curtain pole and ensure everything is safe.

'We'll be returning early next week with our contractor to ensure full repairs are carried out as soon as possible.'
