Sharon Stone in Pink Caftan Visits Catholic Church in Rome with Padre Giulio

Sharon Stone donned a pink embellished caftan and brown mule sandals to visit the Church of San Giuseppe dei Falegnami (Saint Joseph of the Carpenters) in the Italian capital of Rome last Saturday.

The 66-year-old Oscar nominee – who was reportedly location scouting for her next painting exhibition – converted to Vajrayana Buddhism upon meeting the 14th Dalai Lama after several years of practicing Scientology in the nineties.

The 361-year-old Catholic church – overlooking the Roman Forum – just went through a two-year restoration following the collapse of two of the four roof trusses back in 2018.

‘Just spent the day [with] my dear, dear friend Padre Guilio at the Vatican & lunch,’ Sharon – who boasts 3.9M Instagram followers – wrote last Saturday.

Missing from Stone’s side were her three adopted sons – Roan Joseph Stone (formerly Bronstein), 24; Laird Vonne Stone, 19; and Quinn Kelly Stone, 18.

The What About Love actress just signed on to portray the main antagonist opposite Bob Odenkirk in Universal Pictures’ highly-anticipated action sequel Nobody 2, which is already scheduled to hit US/UK theaters on August 15, 2025.

Ilya Naishuller’s critically-acclaimed 2021 original film Nobody – starring the 61-year-old comedian as a government assassin-turned-office worker battling Russian mobsters – had a modest budget of $16M and yet managed to amass $57.5M at the global box office.

Taking over directing duties is German-born Indonesian filmmaker Timo Tjahjanto – who previously helmed The Big 4 (2022), V/H/S/94 (2021), and May the Devil Take You Too (2020).

Sharon and Bob previously co-starred as agent Iris Burton and Tommy Wiseau’s method acting teacher, respectively, in James Franco’s 2017 critically-acclaimed biographical comedy, The Disaster Artist.

Stone famously got her big break playing villains in Paul Verhoeven’s 1990 film Total Recall and his 1992 film Basic Instinct.

The Pennsylvania-born blonde will also appear in the 11th season of Finding Your Roots with Henry Louis Gates, Jr., which premieres early next year on PBS.

‘I just found out that I’m French royalty,’ Sharon boasted to THR on July 9.

‘I just did that show on PBS, Finding Your Roots, and it turns out I’m related to Charlemagne. I am from a long line of royalty in France!’
