Sharon Osbourne was back in the spotlight on Wednesday at at Birmingham’s Villa Park, where Black Sabbath were announcing a surprise reunion show.
The heavy metal pioneers, fronted by her husband Ozzy Osbourne, will return to their home city for a one-off concert over the summer.
And Sharon was on hand to promote the event alongside the band’s originals guitarist Tony Iommi, after admitting she is struggling to gain back the weight she lost while using controversial diet drug Ozempic.
The TV personality showed off personalised Aston Villa shirts with the Brummie musician during her first appearance in public since December, when she was seen shopping in Los Angeles.
The former X Factor judge was one of the first celebrities to publicly confirm using the jab – ostensibly used to treat diabetes – after her gaunt appearance sparked concern.
Initially thrilled with the results when she first started taking the drug in December 2022, friends have revealed the star now fears she has gone too far, despite confirming last November that she had been off the drug for ‘a while’.

Despite consuming high calorie foods, Sharon has not regained any of the weight she lost from taking the drug and has been left ‘frustrated’ at the results.
She previously told the DailyMail: ‘Now, I weigh just over 7st. I need to put on 10lb, but however much I eat, I stay the same weight.
‘I’ve had enough. I’ve given up on all interventions. I couldn’t have much more facial surgery — there’s not that much skin left to stretch, pull or cut. And I won’t have any more fillers or Botox.
‘I don’t think I’ll ever be happy with the way I look. But I’m now satisfied. It’s taken years for me to say this but I’ve learned my lesson. This is me. It’s finally time to leave well alone.
After living much of her life in the spotlight, the TV personality has undergone a range of procedures over the years including a gastric band, full facelift, tummy tuck, an eyelift, breast implants, abdominoplasty and Botox.
In March 2024, Sharon shocked the public after she made her return to UK reality TV on Celebrity Big Brother, where she was reunited with former X Factor colleague Louis Walsh.
The star couldn’t hide her weight loss on the show as she revealed doctors ‘can’t figure out’ why she hasn’t been able to gain weight back after she stopped using Ozempic months ago.
‘The doctors can’t figure it out,’ she said. ‘But I think it’s just because I’m getting older and as you get older you lose weight anyway and shrink and shrivel off.’

As to why she turned to Ozempic, Sharon said ‘everyone was doing it’.
Sharon previously discussed her weight loss journey with actor Colson Smithwhile appearing on Celebrity Big Brother in 2024.
The X Factor legend, who has faced criticism over her slimmed down look after using the drug which is meant for diabetes, described her difficulty in losing weight using more conventional methods.
She said: ‘People who don’t have to worry about weight have no idea what it’s like. At one point I was 230lb. It’s a killer’.
