Country icon Shania Twain reunited with a mega fan 40 years after the two initially crossed paths and shared a touching moment together on stage.
The 58-year-old Man! I Feel Like A Woman! songstress has garnered a flood of fans over her many years in showbiz.
However, there is one admirer who has been on Shania’s side ever since her early days when she was apart of the cover band known as Flirt.
Four decades ago, Shania met Gloria during her first-ever tour of east Canada, when she was a part of Flirt.
And Gloria didn’t just adore Shania’s stellar voice, she also acted as the country icon’s tour guide and confidant that night.

Now, the two have once again stood side by side as Shania welcomed Gloria out on stage mid-set while performing in Canada during her current tour.
While a lot has changed for Shania in the past 40 decades, the country star made it clear that her friendship with Gloria remained the same.
She recalled her tour with Flirt, which marked the very first time she ever left home and when she met Gloria.
‘During that tour I met Gloria, a local girl who took care of me and showed me around,’ the Any Man Of Mine hitmaker said of the fan as she held back tears.
‘All these years later, we were reunited.’
She explained that she was around ’17 or 18′ when she first met Gloria – adding that she even stayed the night at her home.
The country star then revealed that it was rare for her to make girlfriends while on tour.
‘On these tours, when you’re the only girl in a band, you never meet any girls. The only girls you meet are the girls that are trying to hook up with the band,’ she said.

‘And so it was just very odd that I met a girlfriend, someone that I connected with who wasn’t out to jump one of the guys.’
The songstress also revealed that Gloria even made sure she had a great time and showed her around the beach.
She added: ‘She treated me like one of the family. She took me to one of the beaches.
‘She said, “Do you wanna go to the beach?” I said, “Yeah, I’ve never been in the sea before.” It’s August, and I’m thinking, well, “It’s gotta be warm,” you know, and I was so excited. It was so freaking cold.
‘But the funny thing is, I’m still doing exactly the same thing as I did when I met you. I’m still in Newfoundland on a stage singing.’
Shania shared the video of her and Gloria hugging to her X, formerly known as Twitter, alongside a sweet caption.
She wrote: ‘I came to Newfoundland & Labrador with my band Flirt some 40 years ago – it was my first ever tour of the East Coast and my first ever time away from home. During that tour I met Gloria, a local girl who took care of me and showed me around and last night, all these years later, we were reunited.
‘The hospitality and sentiment of Newfies is unmatched – thank you for, once again, showing me such a warm welcome!’

Although she has been singing from a very early age, the country star soared to stardom upon the release of her second album, The Woman in Me, which was released in 1995
Last month, Shania made headlines when she opened up about the struggles she faced as a young child growing up in Canada.
When on CBS News, the songwriter shared that she had to perform at a young age to bring money in for her family.
One of her gigs was singing at a bar when she was only eight years old.
The country singer was on the verge of tears when she recounted working in the over-21 environment.
She noted that she did not like performing as a child because she had to do so in seedy bars where there was risqué behavior and drunk men.
