Dua Lipa sat down recently for a session of day drinking with Seth Meyers recorded for his late-night NBC talk show.
The 28-year-old pop superstar and Seth, 49, met up last Friday at Studio 151 in Manhattan’s East Village for day drinking that was shared on Monday’s episode.
In honor of Dua’s new single Houdini they started out by making a shot disappear together.
Dua in a black and red leather jacket sat at a bar as Seth made their first drink that he called an Houtini.
He mixed up vodka, tequila blanco and white rum before adding blue curacao and they were both unimpressed after trying it.

‘Well, I hope he was a better magician than this is a drink,’ Seth quipped.
Their second drink was called an ‘abracadabra’ and consisted of Magic Hat beer and Harry Potter butter beer blended together along with a garnish of gummies.
‘Let’s show how good an actor you are. Take a sip and show me you love it,’ Seth said to Dua who also acts in addition to singing,
Dua took a sip, licked her lips and said, ‘Mmm, so good.’
‘Yeah, we’re going to recast,’ Seth quipped causing Dua to burst into laughter.
Seth and Dua then took turns pulling cards with different alcohols, common mixers, uncommon mixers and ‘dusty old bottles you’d sneak a drink from at your grandparents’ to make unique drinks.
Dua picked their first alcohol and pronounced ‘bourbon’ oddly prompting Seth to tease her.
The drink also called for soda, green juice and Calvados brandy.

‘The thing is, you and I both know, Dua, this drink is going to suck a**,’ Seth said.
‘Yeah, this is disgusting,’ Dua agreed.
‘You know what, let’s look at that camera together and be like we don’t care what you guys think Dua and are living our best life and we’re going to drink this and we’re going to smile like it was good,’ Seth said.
They took a drink and Dua mustered a smile and said, ‘Mmm, so good.’
They made up another drink that consisted of tequila, Red Bull, pumpkin spice latte and Campari.

‘Through the history of the world, we’re the only two people who are ever going to drink this drink,’ Seth said.
‘That’s special,’ Dua said.
Dua took a sip and actually enjoyed it.
‘Weirdly, we might be on to something. You know, this could be a thing,’ Dua said laughing.
‘My energy was kind of flagging and now I’m kind of back in the game, everybody,’ Seth said.
‘This is the thing that you’ll be thankful for when you have a second wind,’ Dua said.
Seth then decided they should name the drink ‘a second wind’.
Dua and Seth then participated in a ‘water torture’ drinking game involving gin, vodka, tequila and water.
‘You get to stop when it’s water,’ Seth said.
Seth drank water for his first shot, but Dua did multiple shots before finally getting a shot of water.
Seth did multiple shots to catch up and then Dua and Seth did a shot together.
They drank more and admitted they were having more fun since taking off their jackets.
‘So many nights when I’m drunk, I always think about designers. I go, no one thinks about the drunk girl, no one thinks about the drunk girl. The amount of times that I’ve clipped myself into a body suit or put buttons on wrong. Nobody thinks about the drunk girl,’ Dua said.
They took turns either answering questions or doing shots.
Seth did multiple shots to catch up and then Dua and Seth did a shot together.
Dua left before they could recreate the Houdini music video after drinking during the day
‘Tell me someone you think is a fake a** b****,’ Seth said.
‘There’s many fake a** b****es in this world. I’m not planning on saying it right now,’ Dua said as she took a shot.
An announcer later said Dua said she need a few minutes.
‘A few minutes later, Dua’s team said she needed a few minutes more a few minutes after that, her team said, “Dua has to go home now. This meant no Barbie dream house used as a shot luge and no Seth and Dua recreating the “Houdini” music video,’ the announcer added.
