‘I said let me get on stage with you and she freaked out because she realised I wasn’t a performer,’ he said.

Asked how he managed to get by security when he pulled his stunt, Wen joked that he used ‘magic’.

‘Just kidding,’ he added, ‘I’m just too quick.’

Accompanying footage showed Wen racing past security at great speed and leaping onto a stage as guards try to grab him.

During Monday’s concert, Perry appeared concerned and displeased when Wen invaded the stage, but continued the performance briefly before addressing the crowd.

‘There’s never going to be another show like this, so just enjoy it,’ she said into the microphone.

Security rushed on stage and tackled Wen, who was enthusiastically dancing alongside the pop princess after attempting to embrace her.

Wen was removed – with some fans at the show claiming he was then ejected from the arena.

Some in the audience praised Katy’s ‘professional’ response, with the singer saying to the crowd that it had been ‘an eventful 20 minutes’ before carrying on with the show as scheduled.

During his appearance on Tuesday Wen confessed he was ready to quite ‘forever’ because, ‘you get into too much trouble,’ he said.

NSW Police confirmed the mega fan was arrested after Sunday’s incident and taken to Auburn police station.

He was then charged with two offences – entering enclosed land and obstructing a person in performance of work or duties.

Wen, was granted conditional bail and is due to appear at Burwood Local Court on June 23.

It wasn’t Wen’s first performance, with the rogue fan also storming the stage during the Canadian singer The Weeknd’s Melbourne show last year.

He even spoke to 7News at the time about his antics, admitting he had been planning his cameo for months.

‘(There) was way too many security guards, it looked like it was impossible to get through,’ he said.

‘Somehow I just managed to find a small gap in my section and as soon as I was ready to run on the stage, I ran through that small gap and then I jumped up.’

He added: ‘I was extremely happy and as soon as I got to The Weeknd I knew that my plan worked.’

News Corp confirmed on Tuesday that Wen, whose Instagram bio reads ‘troll most hated’, does have form when it comes to unauthosised appearances.

In 2020, he received a $250 fine for dangling from a Brisbane footbridge and also received a $220 fine for a pitch invasion at a 2021 rugby union match.
