Sean Penn sported new, platinum white locks at Variety’s Creative Impact Awards and 10 Directors To Watch brunch event in Palm Springs on Friday.
The Mystic River actor, 63 – who recently spent time with actress Nathalie Kelley, 39, in Miami – joined other celebrities at the ceremony, including glamorous Kate Hudson and Eva Longoria.
The Oscar winner kept it casual by donning a short-sleeved, black shirt as well as a pair of dark gray trousers.
He was seen speaking on stage during the star-studded event and addressed the A-list crowd shortly before introducing Penelope Cruz – who was the recipient of the Creative Impact in Acting Award during the festivities.
While describing her acting, Sean expressed, per Variety, ‘When she wants us to understand, we do. When she wants us to feel, we feel, because she lets us.’

The Ferrari actress was also seen sharing an embrace with Penn as he handed over the award to her during the brunch.
Penelope put on a classy display wearing a pink, plaid tweed miniskirt as well as a matching jacket that also contained hues of black and white.
She added a plain, black top underneath and slipped into a pair of open-toed, black heels that were secured with thin straps that wrapped around her ankles.
While on the stage, the Vanilla Sky actress stated, ‘I feel very lucky to make a living out of acting. This has been my passion since I was a little girl.’
‘When I get an award for doing what I love the most, it feels very confusing and shocking. I used to pray every night when I was a little girl, “Please God, don’t lock me in an office.”‘
‘I thought, if I cannot release everything that is going on here, I know I would lose my mind,’ Cruz expressed to the other attendees.
Before stopping by the special ceremony on Friday which was held at the Parker Palm Springs Hotel, Penn has been keeping busy.

It is also unknown when the two initially met, but the pair were first spotted together while grabbing a bite to eat at Nobu in Malibu in May 2023.
Penn was previously married to singer, Madonna, from 1985 until their divorce was finalized in 1989.
He later tied the knot with Forrest Gump actress, Robin Wright, in 1996 until their divorce in 2010.
The former couple welcomed two children during the course of their marriage: daughter Dylan, 32, and Hopper, 30.
Sean was most recently married to Australian actress, Leila George, whom he said ‘I do’ to in 2020.
However, the following year in October 2021, she filed for divorce, which was later finalized in April 2022.
