The 73rd Miss USA Pageant, which is back in its original home in California for the first time since 2007, was held at the Peacock Theater in Downtown Los Angeles on Sunday, August 4.
The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star Garcelle Beauvais and Keltie Knight from E! News played the role of hosts for the extravagant stage production, where 51 Miss USA Division delegates will gather to crown the 2024 winner, according to silive.com.
Scheana Shay, who’s best known for being part of the cast of Vanderpump Rules, served as one of the judges who helped crown a new Miss USA 2024 winner.
Beforehand, the reality star took to the red carpet to showcase her unique black minidress and train combination that was matched with a pair of black open-toe heels.
The shoulder-less number was a mixture of long stands of black designed in different directions in the upper portion and solid fabric below her waistline, which also included a long train that stretched out several feet behind her.

The reality star accessorized perfectly by wearing a pair of black hoop earrings that matched the upper portion of her mini dress, along with a clutch purse for her essentials.
Rounding out her overall look, the West Covina, California native had her long black tresses pulled back off her face and into a ponytail that fell all the way down to the bottom of her back.
She was also joined on the red carpet by Ally Lewber, an internet personality who first gained fame through her relationship with James Kennedy, a cast member on Vanderpump Rules, as well as Lala Kent, another star on the Bravo series.
Shay would also snuggle up next to her husband, Brock Davies, for a round of photos during the red carpet festivities.
A New Zealand native who grew up in Australia, the former rugby player met Shay at a music festival in 2019, and then began dating soon after, which included going on a trip to Australia and Bali just two months later, Bravo reports.
Davies, who has two children from a previous relationship, and Shay welcomed their first child together, daughter Summer Moon Honey Davies, in April 2021.
Eventually, the couple got married in August 2022 with their daughter as the flower girl.

After meeting in 2019 at a music festival, the couple eventually were married in August 2022

Born with brown hair, Shay decided to match her hair with her ensemble by have her hair stylist spray her locks black for the event.
There are 51 contestants representing each state in the Miss USA pageant, plus the one young lady who represented the District Of Columbia.

The 2023 Miss USA winner, Savannah Gankiewicz of Hawaii, was also on hand to help crown her successor at the end of the ceremony.
The next step for this year’s winner will go on to represent the United States at the Miss Universe 2024 event that’s going to be held in Mexico.
Just days ago, Addie Carver from Mississippi was crowned Miss Teen USA 2024, but in a break in tradition she was crowned with the tiara by Gankiewicz, in the wake of the resignation of New Jersey’s UmaSofia Srivastava in May.

Along with Utah’s Noelia Voigt , who gave up her Miss USA crown, this marks the first time winners of either contest had ever reneged the titles to give up their crowns.
Voigt initially cited mental health reasons, according to CNN, but there were also various criticisms of organizers that would later emerge, while Srivastava maintained her decision to step down was due to a clash in ‘personal values’ with the Miss USA organization.
In her resignation letter, she laid out a list of complaints that included accusations of a delay in receiving her prize, and a ‘toxic work environment’ that ‘at best, is poor management and, at worst, is bullying and harassment.’
Voigt also claimed to have been sexually harassed during a public appearance that she blamed on the organization’s failure to provide an ‘effective handler.’
