Scarlett Moffatt hass revealed she was forced to miss the Pride of Britain Awards after being struck down with a nasty bug.
The former Gogglebox star, 35, shared a video of herself lying in bed when she was supposed to be getting ready for the annual event.
‘I am beyond gutted,’ she told fans. ‘I was meant to be at the Pride of Britain Awards tonight. I’ll show you the dress that I have.’
The presenter shared a photo of herself in the dress she planned to wear, explaining she wanted fans to see it.
‘I’ve got no hair and makeup on when I tried it on, but I just want at least one person to see it. I’m just so poorly,’ she said.
‘I’m absolutely gutted, and I love Pride of Britain so much; it’s like one of the only awards that I go to because it’s not like, what’s the word, self-obsessed; it’s about praising people who genuinely change the world around us and who are just amazing people.

‘But yeah, I just got some penicillin today, so hopefully I feel better soon.
‘I hope that everyone who’s going has a brilliant night. I shall watch it on the telly when it’s on.’
Scarlett’s dress was navy with a v-neckline and a sequinned embellishment with a high leg split.
Alongside the photo, she wrote: ‘This would have been what I’d have worn had I not been wiped out by this bug. Hopefully one day I get to wear it on the red carpet.’
Scarlett continued to flaunt her dramatic weight loss in an update earlier this month after undergoing a glamorous makeover.
The TV personality, who has dropped from a size 18, wore an elegant dark green dress with a feathered trim.
She teamed her outfit with a pair of leopard print heels and styled her hair into loose curls.
Sharing some photos to Instagram, she wrote: ‘Always been a huge fan of Big Brother, in fact my guilty pleasure will forever be a chicken kebab and watching reality TV!

Her weight loss journey has been well-documented over the years, following scandal surrounding her 2016 workout DVD, when she fell from a size 18 to a size eight.
The I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here winner went from 11st 4lb to 8st which saw her drop several dress sizes for her Scarlett’s Superslim Me Plan.
In unveiling the DVD, the Gogglebox star claimed to have lost the weight with the routines in her video alongside a 1,200 calories a day diet.
However messages came to light between Scarlett and her DVD choreographer David Souter showing she had allegedly lost the weight by jetting to a Swiss bootcamp, being forced to take diet pills and living on 700 calories a day.
Messages reportedly read: ‘He worked me to the max had me popping pills and I lost 0.4 of a pound. I said the drugs don’t work and he called me a t*t. Had me in tears yesterday, forcing me to take these tablets that were giving me heart palpitations.’
David later told The Sun On Sunday: ‘The messages about the pills were sent to me by Scarlett two days after she complained to me that she felt sick and had vomited after arriving in Switzerland.’

After the release of the messages, Scarlett’s representatives confirmed elements of the story – yet staunchly denied the star ever took pills.
Her team stated: ‘[Scarlett] did go to a boot camp and it was a horrid experience. She had to weigh herself every day and was put on a very low-calorie diet — but she categorically did not take any pills.’
She also admitted she ‘purposefully gained weight’ to discourage fans from buying her fitness DVD, following its release.
In July, Scarlett confessed she is now a size 16 as she shared some photos from a family holiday.
