Johansson opted for a backless design that prominently featured her sizable back tattoos, which included an enormous black-and-white thorn-dotted branch of a rose bush and a tiny lamb.
She was joined at the film festival premiere by the film’s stars, including it’s 95-year-old lead June Squibb and her British costars Erin Kellyman and Chiwetel Ejiofor.
Eleanor The Great, which stars Squibb as its title character, has polarized critics for its controversial plot and tone, which veers between comedy and drama.

Johansson celebrated her directorial debut’s latest film festival screening on the same day that she revealed whether her husband Colin Jost, 43, will be returning to Saturday Night Live in the wake of four of its stars leaving prior to the start of season 51.
While speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Johansson revealed that her husband is ‘going back to work.’
His status with the show was uncertain it was announced that four of his costars — Heidi Gardner, Michael Longfellow, Devon Walker and Emil Wakim — would not be returning.
Jost has been with SNL for 20 years now after joining the long-running late-night variety show as a writer in 2005.
He later became head writer of the series, and in 2014 he stepped up his profile as a co-anchor of Weekend Update. Since then, he has become the longest-tenured Weekend Update anchor.
EW also confirmed that his co-anchor, Michael Che, will also be back behind the desk for season 51.

Johansson has proved to be a good sport by dropping by SNL several times in recent years for a raunchy series of swapped jokes that the anchors usually do to end the season for celebrate other special occasions.
She has usually been the butt of raunch jokes written by Che and awkwardly delivered by her husband, but she couldn’t say if she would be back for the tradition in the upcoming season, as she is usually invited at the last minute.
‘I think that’s basically the MO over at 30 Rock, is that everything is like moments before,’ she explained. ‘It’s usually like Friday night before the Saturday show.’
During her chat, Johansson added that she would ‘100 percent’ love to see her Eleanor The Great star June Squibb get a chance to host SNL this season.
That would make her by far the oldest person to have ever hosted the series, as the previous record holder, the late Betty White, was only 88 when she commanded the stage in 2010.
Squibb told EW that she would be game to host SNL if she got the call.
‘Oh yes, of course. I love that show. I watch it all the time,’ she said, adding that she would be the perfect guest thanks to her past stint hosting a cabaret show in New York for around a decade.
‘It was a little comedy thing,’ Squibb clarified.
