SAS Australia’s Tim Robards, known as the ‘pretty boy,’ faces ridicule for claiming he brings ‘intellect’ to Channel Seven series following his role on The Bachelor

SAS Australia’s Tim Robards has been mocked for saying he brings ‘intelligence’ to the special forces reality show.

The muscular Bondi-based chiropractor and former Bachelor star, 40, made the comment to Ant Middleton and the fellow DS during his interrogation on Tuesday.

Tim was asked why he deserves to be in the competition and his unexpected answer shocked the directing staff.

‘I believe I bring some intelligence,’ Tim said confidently.

Ant Middleton repeated the claim in shock.

‘Intelligence,’ Tim repeated bluntly.

‘I’ve been trying to listen and take in the information and process and I believe I’ve been trying to stay rational.’

Tim said he didn’t believe he was ‘smarter than everyone else’, but he believed he can ‘process things,’ and ‘block out’ distractions.

Tim finished by placing himself ‘first’ out of the recruits.

Earlier in the night, the former Bachelor suffered a crisis of confidence on the battlefield.

Tim struggled to keep focus, failing to take a shot in a combative challenge.

‘I’ve always been generally not the best decision maker,’ Tim admitted.

‘I’ve always been the person who goes hmmm,’ he added.

Despite travelling far in the competition, Tim is regularly underestimated.

The former reality TV show star is regularly thought of as a pretty boy for his past as a model.

He also often posts in skimpy swimwear from his Vaucluse home.
