Sarah’s Day has taken to social media to vent her frustration at collapsed online bookseller Booktopia.
The Australian influencer, who was born Sarah Stevenson, complained that fans who ordered her cookbook Sunee Side Up have not received their copy.
Earlier this month, Booktopia was plunged into chaos when customers were told their outstanding orders won’t be filled and they won’t get a refund.
The company went into voluntary administration on July 3, just weeks after it announced 50 jobs needed to be cut in order to save $6million.
It emerged that Booktopia had sacked another 165 staff and stopped taking any new orders.
‘You may have been struggling to buy my healthy cookbook called Sunee Side Up. Booktopia, who distribute my book, went into administration,’ Sarah said in a clip on Instagram.
Sarah added the collapse of the company meant the business was no longer distributing orders, forcing her to sell her book on a competing platform.
‘My books are currently frozen in Booktopia. Luckily we have a warehouse in the UK and US which is separate. You can still purchase from them.’
The author then apologised to her fans for the delays and said she hoped to have the situation resolved in the near future.
Many of Sarah’s followers took to the comment section to share in her frustration.
‘I’m in France… I’m so sad that I can’t get it,’ one fan wrote, as a second person added: ‘This is why my books didn’t arrive!’

Sarah, who is about to welcome her third child to the world with husband Kurt Tilse, pursued a full-time career as an influencer in the early 2010s and has since shot to fame as a lifestyle and fitness vlogger.
Earlier this month, it was reported the online bookseller, which was founded in 2004, had been placed into voluntary administration.
The came just weeks after it announced 50 jobs needed to be cut in order to save $6million – Chief executive David Nenke also resigned in May, having been in the role for just 12 months.
It’s understood a delay in deliveries, the departure of its executives and a weak market all contributed to the company’s downfall, Business News Australia reported.
