Sarah Michelle Gellar and her costar Christian Slater both put on stylish displays as they led the New York City premiere of their new series Dexter: Original Sin.
The 47-year-old Buffy star looked shockingly youthful in a white-and-gold tiered dress, while the 55-year-old Heathers actor rocked a sharp gray suit.
They were joined by other stars from the series, including original Dexter actor Michael C. Hall, who returns to narrate the character’s inner voice, and new lead Patrick Gibson.
The show, which will air on the Paramount+ with Showtime streaming service, is a prequel to the original Dexter series.
That show featured Michael C. Hall as the title character, a psychopathic serial killer who works a day job as a police blood splatter analyst and reigns in his deadly urges by only killing other murderers and serial killers.
In Original Sin, Gibson plays a younger version of Dexter, who has just joined the Crime Scene Investigation department under Gellar’s character, while his father Harry (Slater), who has taught him how to contain his homicidal instincts, is still working as a detective.
