Sarah Harris shared a little too much information with her co-stars, and viewers, during Tuesday’s episode of The Project.
Following a segment on Telstra sacking 2,800 workers in favour of using AI, Kate Langbroek joked that soon robots will be doing everything for humans.
‘Then you come home and you find the female robot in bed with your husband!’ she quipped.
‘I don’t have a husband!’ Sarah replied, with Kate clarifying, ‘You get a robot husband!’
‘I pretty much do,’ Sarah joked back, with a stunned Kate catching on seconds later, crying out ‘Oh! Oh! Wow’.

‘Well, it’s not a robot, but it is USB powered,’ Sarah ploughed on, seemingly referring to a sex toy.
Laughter and shock erupted among her co-stars, with Waleed Aly piping up, ‘Is that in case we missed it the first time?’
‘I like it that you’re leaving no room for nuance,’ Kate added, followed by stunned silence from her male co-stars.
‘Is anyone going to say anything else?’ Sarah asked, before guest star Nick Cody joked: ‘What are we meant to say? “Good job, Sarah. Congratulations!”‘

‘I just completely ruined that. I’m sorry,’ an embarrassed Sarah added, with Kate replying, ‘I mean, it is good to see you’re embracing tech!’
Viewers at home were not entirely amused by the exchange, with some sharing their thoughts on X.
‘TMI Sarah,’ wrote one, while someone else agreed, ‘Like WAY too much!!!’
Another replied: ‘Yep, no one needed to hear that!’
Others felt that the exchange was disrespectful to the topic of workers losing their jobs to AI.
‘I don’t think you guys should be making fun of Telstra employees losing their jobs,’ they wrote.
