Sarah Cawood gave fans a glimpse of her ‘wobbly bits’ as she said she refuses to be a ‘slave to the Instagram grind’.
The television presenter, 51, revealed in September 2022 that she had been diagnosed with stage one breast cancer after doctors discovered a lump during a routine mammogram.
Sarah, who previously fronted 90s favourites Live And Kicking and Top Of The Pops, shared a video of herself squinting in the sun as she basked in a multicoloured bikini on Wednesday.
‘Are you fed up of being a slave to the Instagram grind?’ the video, which saw Sarah show off her relaxed tummy, was captioned.
‘Enjoy a simple video of me and my wobbly bits instead. WITH ABSOLUTELY NO OTHER AGENDA.’

Underneath the video, Sarah wrote: ‘I’m so tired of second-guessing what I need to post so today, I’m just posting me in a bikini, wobbly bits and weird belly apron just for…lols.
‘I’ll never have a perfectly curated feed. I’ll never flog anything I don’t love myself.’
She added: ‘I’ll always be real, authentic and hopefully, entirely relatable. Let’s make Instagram a more believable place to be shall we?
‘I am unfollowing any unattainable interiors, make up before and afters (with all that bloody shading: gets on my t***!) and perfect bodies with immediate effect.’
In February, Sarah spoke of her gratitude at surviving breast cancer while encouraging people to check themselves for lumps.
She underwent a lumpectomy followed by radiotherapy and long-term hormone treatment last year after discovering a lump in 2022. She found another in June 2023.
Taking to Instagram, she shared some throwback pictures of herself while in hospital for the procedure.
She wrote: ‘Remembering my own cancer journey on #worldcancerday. I feel very lucky: a routine mammogram picked up my stage 1, grade 1 lump and it was gone within 6 weeks.

Sarah previously explained the moment she received her diagnosis in 2022, saying that after undergoing a routine mammogram doctors sent her for a follow-up
‘Routine mammograms save so many lives, so never put off making your appointment.
‘You never know what curveballs life is going to throw your way, but how you deal with them is the key to thriving during and after treatment.
‘I’m more grateful for my little life than ever. For the support from my friends and family, for the pink sisters and misters I have met along the way, for the NHS for saving my life.
‘There is nothing quite like a cancer diagnosis to get your life in perspective: I don’t sweat the small stuff anymore and every day when I wake up and breathe, and know I’m healthy, is a source of pure joy. So don’t put off that mammogram ladies.
‘To anyone living through a cancer diagnosis and treatment at the moment: I send my love, my healing wishes and my DMs are always open.
‘Love to you all, but especially to my pink sisters today and remembering the good souls we have lost along the way… Also CHECK YOUR BOOBIES AND CHECK YOUR PECS!’
In the photos Sarah posted on social media, she could be seen in her hospital gown as she prepared to undergo her lumpectomy.
The surgeon’s markings could be seen in her breast in the pictures which were taken on the ward.
In November 2023, Sarah admitted she was feeling ‘miserable and overwhelmed’ as she shared a body positive clip in her underwear
In November 2023, she reminded her fans that ‘no one is perfect’, sharing a photo to her Instagram Story where she was she laid in bed, wrapped up in a pink dressing gown.
Sarah explained: ‘I woke up feeling really low. Life is a struggle atm. Not enough time to do what needs to be done and doom scrolling seeing everyone else seemingly crushing it.
‘I’m exhausted: you need to spend hours learning about Instagram and creating content but I have other stuff that I need to do too, but then without it I am stuffed.’
Sarah later changed into a black bra and leopard underwear as she proudly showed off her progress from exercising.
Speaking in a video, she added: ‘I might be miserable and overwhelmed but at least I am a bit more buff.
‘Just for transparency girls, just so you know everyone else’s life isn’t perfect. Also, it’s sweater weather now, maybe I’ll light a fire today.’
