Sarah Brightman, 65, to Spend Christmas with Boyfriend After Holiday Tour

Golden-voiced artist Sarah Brightman is having the time of her life at age 65.

The Grammy winning singer, who originated the role of Christine Daaé in Phantom Of the Opera, has talked to Daily Mail about how she keeps thriving.

And being in love with her boyfriend is definitely one of the highlights of her life.

‘I will be spending Christmas with my lovely partner,’ the beauty told Daily Mail. She has yet to share his name. ‘We are going to be in England for Christmas with my family. I love spending time with my boyfriend and two dogs, it makes me feel grounded while in the mad world of entertainment.’

She was previously married to Andrew Lloyd Webber (1984-1990) and before that to Andrew Graham-Stewart (1973-1980). She also had a 10-year relationship with her record producer, Frank Peterson.

Before she snuggles up to her man in front of the Christmas tree, however, she will hit the road.

On November 26 Brightman kicks off her North America tour with her new Christmas spectacle A Winter Symphony.

Brightman is thrilled to be on the road again even if it is a lot of work: ‘A holiday show is actually the hardest type of show to put on because it’s an emotional experience, but I like the challenge.’

The brunette added, ‘The songs range from religious to holiday and hits from Phantom.’

And she enjoys celebrating Christmas: ‘I love Christmas. A Christmas tour is a very personal thing for me because I have a large family that I like to spend time with me. We love making memories together. There will be 24 people at our Christmas table this year because I have a lot of sisters and nieces and nephews.’

She also talked to Daily Mail about her ex Andrew Lloyd Webber, whom she has stayed friends with since their divorce: ‘He is an amazing person to have created what he has done in his life. He is the real deal.’

Brightman credits her stamina with being inspired with her music. ‘I focus on what my passions are and that fuels me,’ the chart-topping singer told Daily Mail. ‘I feel lucky to have all the energy to do all the thinks that I want to do.’

As far as staying in shape, the performer said she ‘goes for walks all the time,’ while adding yoga and Pilates to her schedule. ‘And I take a lot of naps, it helps keep me youthful and happy,’ she added.

She needs to stay in shape so she can do what her heart wants, which is to sing on stage.

Her tour promises to be spectacular.  Accompanied by an orchestra, choir, and special guests, this holiday show will feature Brightman performing many of her holiday classics and greatest hits.
