Love Island’s Samie Elishi has revealed she’s in a new relationship, after her ex boyfriend Tom Clare entered the All Stars villa in search for love.
The former couple, who met on series 9 in 2023 and finished in third place, split just one month after departing the villa together but were said to have ended on good terms.
Now, Samie, 23, has announced she’s ‘happily with someone’, one year after splitting from the footballer, 24.
The influencer explained on Instagram: ‘Just want to clarify some things. I have not spoken to the press recently, unless you hear something from myself directly it’s all speculation.
‘I am happily with someone and focusing on this lovely little life and work right now.’

Elsewhere, Samie’s best pal Claudia Fogarty was asked about Tom entering the villa on the Cracking On with The Sun podcast
She said: ‘They both have massive respect for each other. They just weren’t right together.
‘They’re on good terms now, and I think she just wants him to find someone and be happy.
‘She’s dating someone now too so it’s just nice that they can both kind of move on and happy.’
It recently emerged that Samie dropped out of appearing on All Stars after she learned her ex was also going to be taking part on the show.
Tom took to social media in April 2023 to confirm his split from Samie but insisted they are still on ‘good terms’ and he has ‘nothing but love’ for her.
The reality star did not give a reason for their split but admitted he is ‘gutted’ their relationship has ended.

He penned: ‘Didn’t think I’d be writing this but me and Samie have gone our separate ways.
‘We are still on good terms and I have nothing but love and respect for her. I’m gutted it’s some to an end but I truly wish Samie the best.’
Tom’s statement came after Samie admitted she went on Love Island for fame rather than love.
She made the very candid revelation while chatting to Chloe Burrows on her YouTube series Chloe vs The World last week.
Appearing on Chloe’s show with then-boyfriend Tom, Samie did not shy away from admitting she went on Love Island for ‘exposure’ rather than love.
Former Islander Chloe, 27, asked the pair: ‘Did you go on Love Island for love or did you go on for exposure?’
Samie candidly replied: ‘I’m going to be honest, mine was the second one. I didn’t expect to meet anyone.’
Tom then added: ‘I think mine was I really wanted to meet someone, but in the first two weeks I was like, ‘I’m stuffed here, there’s no one for me’.’
As Chloe made a joke about ‘forcing it’, Samie said: ‘It’s f***ing Love Island!’
Tom, who lives in Barnsley, and Samie, who is based in Essex, are said to have also put their break-up down to not being able to make the distance work.
Tom has admitted he would find it hard if Samie did make an appearance in the villa, revealing ahead of his stay: ‘I think it’s hard because I was obviously in love with Samie so I don’t know how I would react.’
A source told The Sun: ‘Samie and Tom have sadly decided to call it a day. There is a lot of love and respect there but it just wasn’t going anywhere.
‘The distance between them was too much and they are both really focused on their careers post Love Island.’
Tom had previously said he would happily move to wherever for Samie to make their relationship work but there was ‘no rush’ to do so.
In the meantime, the pair were travelling to each other’s homes to spend a ‘few days together’ and trying to make their romance work.
Following appearing on the hit ITV dating show, Tom and Samie made their relationship official while on a romantic date night.
At the end of March last year, Samie took to Instagram to share the exciting news, she wrote: ‘This is my BOYFRIEND everyone.’
The pair documented a number of dates since then including heading to the football together, romantic dinner dates and playing top golf.
The pair managed to make it all the way to the final and place third, despite both arriving as bombshell contestants.
They lost out to winners Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan and placed just behind runners up Ron Hall and Lana Jenkins.
Prior to entering the villa for All Stars, Tom told MailOnline at the time that the couple split after their relationship became ‘intense’ and ‘pressurised’ but there was no fallout or bad blood between them.

‘We haven’t seen each other in a long time and things have been said. It would be difficult seeing her. Although we might have argued a bit, she’s got a good heart and I haven’t got a bad way to say about her.’
But he added that he is raring to go, and ready to find love again. ‘I found love last time, so I am back and ready to give it another go.’
Revealing that he has his sight set on Arabella Chi and Mollie Smith, Tom added: ‘Last time I did exactly what I wanted and got the girl that I wanted, so no I wouldn’t do anything different.’
