She's been modelling since she was 13 years old.

And while Samantha Harris says she still loves the job, the supposedly 'glamorous' and sought-after role has its downside.

'Early morning call times. Lots of travelling,' the 35-year-old said in the latest edition of Stellar.

The mother-of-one continued, 'Shooting swimwear in winter because you're waiting for it to come out the next season, or shooting winter in summer and you're bloody hot.'

Samantha, who welcomed her first child with husband Luke Hunt last year, said modelling was a 'beautiful job', but added: 'There's a little bit more behind the scenes than people might know.'

Elsewhere in the chat, Samantha recalled meeting Australian supermodel Megan Gale, which left her speechless.

'When I was younger, and I was a youth ambassador for David Jones, I remember seeing Megan Gale,' she recalled.

'And because she had the dark features and the dark hair, I just remember looking at her thinking, "wow".'

'And she's such a beautiful person inside as well, which makes her even more special.'

For her Stellar shoot, the fashion veteran rocked an oversized longline white shirt, grey trousers and a pair of emerald green shoes.

Letting her long, dark locks fall over her shoulders, the famed cover-girl completed her look with a set of gold earrings.
