Veteran presenter Samantha Armytage awkwardly shut down Nova FM star Chrissie Swan on Monday during a radio interview.
Samantha, 49, was chatting to Chrissie, 51, about her new Channel Nine reality TV series The Golden Bachelor, when she was bluntly asked a personal question – which she promptly shut down.
‘Are you as tired of people talking about your body as I am?’ Chrissie asked.
However, Sam refuted the suggestion and said she would never reject a compliment about her appearance.
‘Look, no, I’m not sick. I mean, give me compliments. Come on! I’m never going to reject a compliment,’ she began.
Sam said that as she has gotten older, she has been learning to fully appreciate every compliment, and went on to reveal the secrets behind her slimmed-down figure.

‘I am at a really nice time in my life. I’m feeling really strong, healthy and happy,’ Sam said.
‘I had a major operation last year, and from that, I sort of woke up out of that, literally feeling a bit renewed and refreshed, not in chronic pain. We all get to this age where things start to change and creak.
‘So I’ve just been working on fitness and health. So look, the compliments are lovely. Keep them coming. I feel good, that’s the most important thing, when you feel good, then you look good.’

Romance rumours have surrounded Golden Bachelor Barry ‘Bear’ Myrden and host Samantha Armytage for months.
The pair first sparked whispers of an off-screen romance after making their red carpet debut at the Logies, where their close rapport was noticed by attendees.
The reality show’s leading man has since responded to the talk of the town.
Bear attended the Golden Bachelor premiere in Sydney on Monday, where he couldn’t help but gush about his co-star in an exclusive interview with Daily Mail.

‘She was sensational. She was great,’ the 61-year-old said of Samantha’s time hosting the inaugural season.
‘I used her as a mentor the whole way through. She said, “follow your heart,” which I did.’
However, when asked about all of the rumours regarding his relationship with the TV star, he was quick to dismiss them.
‘Yeah, well, that’s to be expected,’ he said of the speculation.
‘Let’s just say they are rumours,’ the silver fox added.
The Golden Bachelor co-stars appeared to avoid being photographed together on Monday at the KIIS FM Studio in Sydney as speculation about their relationship continues to swirl.
The pair kept their interactions minimal, avoiding eye contact and conversation as they left The Kyle and Jackie O Show studios, as they continue to dismiss claims of a romantic connection.
The Golden Bachelor has been a smash hit in the US, and fans had been clamouring for an Australian edition.
However, last month, host Samantha was forced to address rumours that she had got cosy with Bear after the pair’s red carpet debut at the Logies sparked whispers of an off-screen romance.
The Sunrise alum has laughed off suggestions she and the handsome reality star had become more than colleagues.
