Married At First Sight groom Sam Stanton showed off his impressive physique during a lively performance at the Fringe Festival over the weekend.

The fitness studio owner, 34, stripped down to reveal his chiselled six-pack as he took to the stage during the Old Town Road country dance party, delighting the packed crowd with a high-energy routine.

Footage obtained by Daily Mail show Sam confidently dancing front and centre, wearing nothing but a pair of loose blue jeans and a black cowboy hat as he strutted across the stage.

The shirtless TV groom flaunted his muscular torso and toned abs while performing a cheeky country dance routine alongside two female dancers dressed in Western-inspired outfits.

The dancers embraced the theme in glittering pink tank tops, denim shorts and white cowboy boots, completing their looks with cowboy hats and bright bandanas tied around their necks.

Behind them, a glowing 'Old Town Road' sign lit up the stage as the trio performed a series of coordinated dance moves to the country hit Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy) by Big & Rich.

The tropical backdrop and crowded bar setting suggest a carefree working holiday vibe - a far cry from the high-pressure dinner parties of the experiment.

'So I actually know the new masked villain that's coming on, this guy,' Eliot began in the clip, before quickly laughing. 'I'm just kidding, he's not a villain.'

Eliot explained the pair met more than a decade ago while working as personal trainers.

'We met back in 2014 though, there's a photo of us together at a bar in Saint Martin,' he said.

'I took over a ship that he was working on. I'll never forget, everyone on the ship was obsessed with this guy. They were like, 'Oh my God, he's so amazing.'

Eliot admitted he was intrigued by Sam's popularity at the time.

'I remember I messaged him and I was like, 'Dude, what the f*** did you do to this cast because it's like they're obsessed with you.'

Despite the hype, Eliot insisted Sam was the real deal.

'We ended up meeting up later on and he is just a really genuine, sweet guy.'

Instead, he felt there was potential to build something meaningful.

'I had high hopes. There was a lot of potential. I just wanted to get to know him.'

Sam has also not shied away from calling out controversial behaviour in the experiment, taking aim at fellow groom Tyson.

'I think that's the problem with him. He really has some misogynistic values deep in him.'

'The Chris and Gia versus Sam and Beck - there might be something there,' he said.

Still, he insisted he did not sign up to ride out a doomed marriage for airtime.

'I was never ever going to stay if I found out it wasn't going to work for whatever reason. I'm not just going to stay there for no reason.'
