The 64-year-old passed away in May from a heart attack, after he suffered a massive blockage to his coronary artery.
Rubin suffered the heart attack at his Los Angeles home after doing his regular Hollywood news segment that morning.
The multi-Emmy Award winner was a renowned figure in the news industry on the West Coast, and had covered entertainment, movies and TV for KTLA since 1991.
