Sally Field was spotted walking her dog in New York City on Wednesday.
The 77-year-old actress put on a casual display in taupe fedora and a navy blue raincoat with a leather collar as she braved the rain during her stroll with her cavapoo Dash.
She layered two tops — one with long, black sleeves — underneath her jacket as she donned a pair of baggy jeans and crisp white sneakers.
The Forrest Gump star — who claimed Julia Roberts was ‘bullied’ on the set of their 1989 movie Steel Magnolias — sported a pair of tortoiseshell glasses as her only other accessory.
She left her chic, chin-length bob down in natural waves underneath her hat and appeared to be sporting a makeup-free look.

The two-time Oscar winner was seen carrying a red leash and walking alongside her precious pooch, who was dressed in a black-and-white, checkered raincoat.
Recently, the 80 for Brady alum opened up about her experience filming alongside an all-star cast for Steel Magnolias in the ’80s.
She told Vulture on February 12 that one of the main reasons she wanted to do the film was because of the iconic ‘humdinger of a scene’, as she called it, of her going through the five stages of grief in a short period of time.
She also revealed that the late director Herbert Ross would ‘pick on’ her co-star Roberts but ‘dared not’ try to bully her.
‘Herb was very, very, very hard on Julia,’ she said. ‘If you ever talk to Julia, she’ll tell you.
‘We would all rally around Julia, because she was the baby,’ she said about the silver screen star who was just making her debut at the time. ‘She was sort of the newcomer.’
For that reason, Field claimed Ross would give her a hard time, before adding later that he ‘could be a real son of a b****, that’s why’.
‘She was wonderful, and he just picked on her. It was awful.’

She recalled that country icon Dolly Parton would often defend Roberts and extend her kind heart.
‘We all came to her aid,’ Field said. ‘And I remember Dolly once just turned on him — always with humor, but usually the most vulgar humor you ever heard so that it was like, you just literally don’t have a leg to stand on.’
As for herself, she said he ‘dared not’ try her as she is a ‘warrior’.
‘I mean, I don’t mind notes, but I will argue if it doesn’t make sense to me,’ she said.
‘But if you’re gonna be mean to me, then you’re gonna find a warrior,’ she continued.
‘I may be small, but you don’t want to do that.’
