Dancing on Ice champion Ryan Thomas has revealed when he and fiancée Lucy Mecklenburgh plan on tying the knot after he proposed almost five-years ago.
The former Coronation Street actor, 39, popped the question back in 2019, however the pair are yet to walk down the aisle.
And after the star skated to victory on Sunday evening alongside his professional partner Amani Fancy, while Lucy, 32, watched supportively in the audience, Ryan has revealed when the big day will be.
Speaking to The Mirror about the length of their engagement, Ryan joked: ‘Don’t remind her,’ before admitting the pair will set a date when they ‘stop having children’ so that their brood can be part of the celebrations.
He joked: ‘She turned up in a wedding outfit to Dancing On Ice and I said, “Darling this isn’t your moment”.’

The couple are parents to son Roman, three, and daughter Lilah, 19-months, and Ryan pair tribute to Lucy as he gushed that he could never have competed in the ice skating competition without her incredible support.
Ryan continued: ‘The biggest hero in all of this is Lucy. She gave me the chance to do this, and looking after the children at home is probably a harder job. I am very lucky that she has given me this freedom to be able to do this job.’
The star is also a father to another daughter, Scarlett, 15, from his marriage to Tina O’Brien.
He and Tina met on the set of Coronation Street where they played a married couple who also had one daughter.
Their real-life daughter Scarlett has followed in her parents’ acting footsteps and appeared in Waterloo Road’s revival series with her uncle Adam Thomas.
Ryan and Lucy began their romance in 2017, having met on Celebrity Island With Bear Grylls, and Ryan popped the question while on holiday on the Amalfi coast.
Sharing a smitten snap at the time Lucy leaned in to kiss her other half while flashing her new sparkler as she captioned the post: ”I said YES❤️’.
Meanwhile Ryan has joked that he only lifted the Dancing On Ice trophy on Sunday due to Greg Rutherford having to pull out of the competition due to injury.

Ryan beat Miles Nazaire and partner Vanessa Bauer to victory, with Adele Roberts coming in third place.
However Greg, 37, missed the final after experiencing a significant injury the morning of rehearsals and needing stitches after being rushed to hospital.
Joining Lorraine Kelly on her show on Tuesday with his partner Amani, Ryan admitted he never thought he’d make it to the final and Greg ‘deserved the trophy.’
He explained: ‘From week one you would have never have thought that I would be in the final. Amani had her work cut out for me.’
Ryan continued: ‘Greg was so good. Greg if you are watching I’m not glad you went out but you’re probably the reason I got the trophy.
‘I want to give the trophy to Greg because he really deserves it. I’m not sure how he will feel having it on his mantelpiece with my name on it,’ he joked.
‘He does deserve it though, I felt like I had imposter syndrome throughout the show.’
