Ryan Giggs paid a sweet tribute to his mum with a snap shared to Instagram as he gave a rare insight into his relationship with girlfriend Zara for Mother's Day on Sunday.

The Welsh coach and former football player, 52, posted a sweet snap with his mum, both wearing matching black outfits.

Alongside his post, he penned: 'Happy Mother's Day Mum. Love you', alongside a heart emoji.

Ryan also posted a snap with girlfriend Zara, 37, after they welcomed a baby daughter, named Cora, in November 2024.

In the post, Ryan, Zara, and Cora smiled and posed for a sweet picture while exploring a light display.

To announce the birth of their first child together, a spokesperson told Daily Mail at the time: 'Ryan and his partner Zara are delighted to announce the birth of their daughter, Cora Giggs, who was born on Friday 1 November.

'They extend their warmest gratitude to all the amazing staff, especially the midwives at Wythenshawe Hospital.'

Ryan already has two children, daughter Libby, 23, and son, Zach, 19, from his 10-year marriage to Stacey Cooke, while Zara also has a daughter from a previous marriage.

Insiders previously claimed Ryan's ex-wife Stacey - who divorced him in 2017 - gave him and Zara her blessing as well as their children.

The divorce came following the revelation Ryan had been having an eight-year affair with his brother's wife, Natasha.

Members of his family cut ties with him when the news broke, his dad saying he was 'ashamed' of his son while his brother, Rhodri, made headlines appearing on a Paddy Power advert mocking the former Manchester United man.

Meanwhile, in January it was revealed how the Premiere League had 'shelved' plans for Ryan to be inducted into their Hall Of Fame.

He had been intended to be an inaugural member of the Hall of Fame alongside Alan Shearer after the Premier League launched the concept, borrowing from the model in American sports.

The Welshman was then quietly withdrawn from the process because of the charges he faced, according to the Telegraph.

The first players to be committed to the Hall of Fame were supposed to be announced in 2020 but there was a delay due to the pandemic.
