Rupert Murdoch’s ‘wild child’ granddaughter has revealed the real reason she moved from London to Los Angeles in 2024.
Charlotte Freud, 25, recently hosted a Q&A with her Instagram followers and did not mince her words when asked why she relocated to America.
‘I say this with all the love in my heart. For the people that still live in London, love you all, but London f***ing sucks,’ she began.
‘The only thing I do there is drink. Everyone is cold, miserable all the time. It is either too hot or too cold. It’s expensive for no f***ing reason. It’s not pretty.’
She added the reality of London did not live up to the hype and that the citizens who love it probably lived in an upmarket area.
‘People go to London thinking it is going to be this beautiful, magical place. It’s not. I feel like the people who love London live in Surrey,’ she said.

Charlotte then revealed why she preferred life on the west coast of America.
‘I’m really lucky I’m an American citizen. I wanted to live in the sun, I chose LA! I’m literally just here for the sun,’ Charlotte said.
Charlotte is the daughter of PR guru Matthew Freud and Elisabeth Murdoch and has developed a reputation as a ‘wild child’ due to her outspoken nature.
She has been dating US actor Isaac Presley since March and hard launched him in a western-themed photoshoot.
In May, she told fans she was on the airport watch list after committing an illegal act while in the air.
She revealed that she was put on watch for five years after she was caught vaping on a Virgin Atlantic plane.
The granddaughter of media mogul Murdoch shared a picture of her holding a peace sign as she filled fans in on the plane mishap.
‘After a perfect month of travel, she finds out she’s on some kind of terrorist watch list for vaping on a Virgin flight two years ago,’ she began.

‘And will be stopped at every checkpoint to be scolded for that for all Virgin flights for the next five years.’
Charlotte went on to say she was ‘boycotting’ the airline before admitting she had ‘done a lot worse’ on flights.
‘Obviously we are boycotting Virgin for the next three years, but in the grand scheme of things young Char has done a lot worse on flights so we’ll be grateful they’re just Juul shaming me’ she added.
Juul is a popular brand of nicotine vape in the USA.
She then shared a picture of her vape with the song Never Tear Us Apart by INXS playing in the background.
