Oliver has previously published several Taylor Swift related videos to his social media, leading fans to suggest the New Zealander’s moment was pre-arranged.
TikTok star Mikael Arellano also scored the fedora at one of the star’s concerts having previously uploaded Eras Tour content.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, throughout Swift’s 53 shows in the US, 29 young girls were given the hat in comparison to what appeared to be 12 girls aged over 16.
Only 12 boys scored the fedora.
The outlet suggested fans are more likely to be selected if they are on the ground floor or situated in arena seating.
Swift will next perform four packed out concerts at Accor Stadium in Sydney on February 23, 24, 25, and 26 – and only four fans will walk away with the fedora.
