Rumer Willis spoke to People about her first few months of motherhood, after welcoming daughter Louetta in April.
The 35-year-old new mom — who shares her daughter with boyfriend Derek Richard Thomas — revealed to the publication about her baby, ‘She just said “Dada” the other day, which was amazing.’
She also gushed about her little one: ‘She’s really close to fully crawling. She can scoot pretty fast across the floor.’
Elsewhere in the interview, she expressed, ‘Children are wonderful and these magical, little beings and truly getting to witness and be around them as they discover the world, it’s incredible.’
Detailing her lifelong wish to become a parent, the actress stated, ‘Honestly, being a mom is an experience I’ve dreamed about my whole life.’

‘And what’s been incredible to experience is that Lou has far exceeded any expectations or any idea or dream that I possibly had,’ she added.
The star largely discussed her collaboration with the brand Bumpsuit, as they joined forces to offer consumers an exclusive new colorway.
She described when the product most comes in handy. ‘One of my favorite days, and when I use the carrier the most, are Sundays.
‘We wake up, probably around seven, and we go to the farmer’s market. So what I love to do, especially when it’s sunny, I like to put her in there and we kind of stroll through the farmer’s market.’
And Rumer has been leaning on her community of family and friends while adjusting to motherhood.
‘I think what people say about it taking a village to raise a baby is totally true. And It’s been lovely to be able to have friends that also have young children and just being able to experience positive parenthood with them and see the milestones that each of our kids are hitting at different times,’ she noted.

The star, who is the daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, stressed that she was ‘deeply passionate’ about the subject long before she became a mother.

In the clip, Willis talked about her breastfeeding journey and learning what to eat to nourish herself and her baby.
In the recording she wore a white T-shirt with a message that read, ‘Radical change is needed.’
Her bleach blonde hair was in a side part with most of it flowing down her back and a portion falling over her shoulder.
‘What I think is the most important thing here is that we don’t just focus on one piece of this, but that it’s really [about] figuring out a way to change the healthcare model as a whole.’
In the caption to her one million followers, she simply tagged Needed’s Instagram handle and added a blue heart emoji.
In a separate joint post with Bumpsuit, the new mom posed with her bundle of joy nestled in a baby carrier.
