Ruby Wax has hit out at ITV and called the hotel they put her up in Down Under before her I’m A Celebrity stint ‘trash’.
The comedian and actress, 72, will join the likes of Spandau Ballet’s Martin Kemp, 64, model Kelly Brook, 41, and Twitch sensation AngryGinge, 25, also known as Morgan Burtwistle, in the Australian jungle on Sunday.
Speaking ahead of her appearance, Ruby voiced her disappointment to the Daily Mail about the state of her hotel that she has been staying in since she arrived on Tuesday.
The When Ruby Met presenter said: ‘I am looking forward to getting into the Jungle because this hotel is trash.
‘I am complaining and changing rooms already.’
Throughout her career, Ruby has interviewed the likes of OJ Simpson, Sarah Ferguson and Donald Trump and revealed she would speak about all of them while on the ITV reality show.

‘Oh they will come out of my mouth,’ she confirmed, ‘Donald Trump I do not think is too worried. I think there is a whole country that might agree with me.’
‘But now we are a minority. But I do not think he will be listening to the show, so I will be okay.’
Known for being outspoken, Ruby also revealed the reason she was doing the show was because of ‘dietary reasons’ and said: ‘I am kind of chubby now, you know, the stomach is over the top of the jeans.
‘The idea that I am going to wear a swimsuit and people are oging to see that, is mortifying.’
She also opened up about her relationship with her three children Max, 35, Maddy, 26, and Marina, 23, who are ’embarrased’ by her.
She said: ‘My children were horrified, because I am in total embarrassment to them in general. So this is really humility. My existence is mortifying to my children. T
‘he fact that I breathe is an embarrassment, and I know nothing about comedy in their eyes, because they are comedians, and they know better.’
