Married At First Sight’s Rozz Darlington has revealed she had to change her phone number due to ‘hate’ messages she received after the show aired.
The florist, 28, and her now-ex Thomas Kriaras’ relationship blossomed on the show, but they suddenly split up in the final commitment ceremony in tearful scenes.
Viewers were left devastated at their break-up but Thomas later urged cruel trolls to stop targeting Rozz for her decision to end things with him.
Now, Rozz has spoken about how the trolling affected her mental health and revealed she even had to change her phone number due to ‘hate’ messages.
She told new! magazine: ‘I had to get a new phone number because it was linked to my business and people were texting my phone with hate.

‘I am understanding, but part of my personality is that when people say things, I believe them, so then I start thinking, “I am a horrible person”, it gets to you.’
Rozz revealed she started going to therapy amid her struggles with the trolling, and also admitted she felt very ‘vulnerable, scared and upset’ on the show.
Reflecting on their break-up, Thomas, 27, also told how they struggled in the real world and with meeting each other’s families, leading Rozz to have doubts.
He told how Rozz found returning to her own home with Thomas difficult because it was the house she shared with her ex-boyfriend.
Thomas said: ‘For Rozz, when we got to her house, it all just hit her, her ex-partner’s mail was in the house, it was the first time a man had ever been in that bed with her other than her ex.’
Thomas admitted it felt like the ‘haunting’ of her past relationship and insisted he understood how she was feeling as he insisted they are now on good terms.
Despite her struggles, Rozz admitted she wouldn’t change going on the E4 show as she gushed over meeting Thomas, while they insisted they will remain a part of each other’s lives despite their break-up.
It comes after Thomas insisted that there was no ‘bad blood’ between himself and Rozz as he hit back at trolls targeting his ex-wife in a social media post.
He penned: ‘I’ve seen a lot of inappropriate comments sent in Rozz’s direction. The only person’s feelings who matter are Rozz’s and my own. We’re friends and there is zero bad blood between us.

‘I don’t understand how anyone can be mad at someone who gave it their all but couldn’t make a relationship work? What’s the alternative? Should she be forced to be my wife forever? She did the right thing for her and that’s all that matters.
‘So only love and support. Send her as much love as possible, because that’s what she deserves. I’d really appreciate it.’
The pair then returned to screens last week for the reunion and became tearful as they spoke about their relationship with the dating experts.
During the emotional scenes, Thomas admitted he still had feelings for Rozz, and heartbroken viewers took to social media to share their hopes for the exes.
One tweeted: ‘What a guy Thomas is! He breaks my heart! To speak about someone who hurt him the way he speaks about Rozz just shows the type of person he is! Ps. Still holding out hope they’ll fall in love.’
Another said: ‘I hope Rozz and Thomas rekindle. The only couple that suited really,’ and a third wrote: ‘Thomas is such a perfect gentleman. The way he never changed how he treated Rozz proved that.’
A fourth penned: ‘Rozz and Thomas are still the absolute best of the season imo even if they didn’t end as a couple because of the pure mutual respect they have for each other and how amicably everything was handled. Sad that they weren’t endgame but they still make my heart feel warm.’
Another added: ‘Thomas is genuinely the most wonderful genuine guy , seeing him cry again tonight broke my heart.’
In the heart-wrenching scenes, Rozz was asked by the experts why she decided to ‘walk away’ and break things off with Thomas at the end of the experiment.
Through tears, she said: ‘I just think I freaked out. In life generally, if anything gets too difficult, I do just want to crawl under the rock or turn the other way, and I don’t want to face it and yeah. I worry, how can I change that?’

Expert Mel Schilling urged her to break her pattern of behaviour this time, but she emotionally said: ‘Until I’m truly, fully ready to give someone 100 per cent, it’s not fair.’
When asked how he felt about the break-up, Thomas said to Rozz: ‘It would have been easier if you were nasty, but you’re actually the most wonderful person I’ve ever met, so I could never say a bad word about you.’
Mel then asked him: ‘Thomas do you still have feelings for Rozz?’
To which he tearfully responded: ‘I do, yeah, but I don’t want to make her feel guilty or push her away and lose her from my life just because the feelings are still there… I do want a relationship even if it’s just friendship. It’s hard, it’s hard.’
