Ross King became the second celebrity contestant to be voted out of Strictly Come Dancing 2025 on Sunday night’s results show.
After Movie Week, TV presenter Ross, 63, and his professional partner Jowita Przystał left the competition following a dance off against Balvinder Sopal and pro Julian Caillon.
Both couples performed their routines again. Ross and Jowita performed their Paso Doble to the theme from Thunderbirds Are Go.
While Balvinder and Julian danced their Foxtrot to The Way You Look Tonight from the movie Swing Time.
After both couples had danced a second time, the judges delivered their verdicts: Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke all chose to save Balvinder and Julian.
Head Judge Shirley Ballas – who this week was the judge with the casting vote – said that she would also have chosen to save Balvinder and Julian, should she have been required to vote.

When asked by host Tess Daly about their time on the show, a tearful Ross King said: ‘I have loved every single minute of it. I would like to say thank you to everyone who has supported us, all the people who voted – they’ve been amazing.
‘I want to thank everyone here in this room, backstage, the judges, the crew – every single person here has made me so, so welcome.
‘And, I want to thank a very special lady who has been with me through it all and has been absolutely everything: she’s been a mentor, teacher, carer…
‘I could not have wished for a better partner, and I could not have wished to be on a better show. Thank you judges for all your remarks.’
Tess then turned to Jowita and said: ‘Jowita, you called Ross ‘Your King’.
Jowita replied: ‘And I still stand by it! Thank you so much for all of your work. For everything you have done during rehearsals.
‘We laugh a lot – but we also cried! Thank you so much, and I hope I’m going to be a little part in your life forever.’
Sunday’s results show also featured a routine from Strictly’s professional dancers in tribute to the Minecraft movie, plus Nancy Xu and Kai Widdrington danced to a magnificent performance from Lang Lang of Reflection from the film Mulan.
The remaining thirteen couples will take to the dancefloor next week when Strictly Come Dancing returns on Saturday October 18 at 6:30pm.

Strictly viewers were left in stitches on Saturday evening when Ross took to the ballroom dressed as a Thunderbird.
The Scottish star looked worlds away from his usual self as he debuted jet black hair and dramatic bushy eyebrows.
Hoping to climb up from the bottom of the leaderboard, the pair performed a Paso Doble to the iconic Thunderbirds theme.
However, Ross and Jowita earned just 19 points from the judges. Despite the low score, it marked an improvement of four points from last Saturday’s routine.
Following the performance, viewers flocked to X, formerly Twitter, to poke fun at Ross’s striking transformation, with some comparing him to Jonathan Ross and LazyTown villain Robbie Rotten.
One viewer wrote: ‘Ross King looks so different with dark hair and bushy eyebrows (laughing emoji)’; ‘Why does Ross King look like Jonathan Ross???’
‘God bless Ross King he’s been proper set up here (crying laughing emojis)’; ‘Ross King as a Thunderbird is absolute comedy gold.’
