Rose Byrne exudes effortless elegance in a brown leather skirt while departing The View’s studio in New York City alongside partner Bobby Cannavale after their appearance on the show

Rose Byrne looked effortlessly chic on Tuesday as she left The View’s studio in New York City after an appearance on the show with her partner Bobby Cannavale.

The Australian actress, 44, put on a stylish display in a long brown leather skirt and a buttoned shirt as she posed at the front of the studio after an interview on the show to promote her new movie Ezra – which also stars Bobby.

The Bridesmaids star completed her look with strappy yellow heels and wore silver hoop earrings.

She had her dark brown tresses styled in waves and shoulder-length with a part in the middle.

As for makeup, Rose rocked a nude lip and blush paired with a luminous complexion.

She was also joined by her partner Bobby, 54, who looked stylish in a tight green T-shirt, brown pants and black shoes.

During their appearance on the show, Rose and Bobby gave fans a glimpse of what their life is really like at home raising two young sons and revealed how they try to ‘resolve conflict’ between their boys, Rocco and Rafael.

Bobby admitted that it can be a ‘juggle’ because their kids were born just ’20 months apart,’ and despite rarely speaking about his personal life, he did divulge that he and Rose are trying their best to help their sons ‘regulate’ their emotions.

‘I mean, like any parent you’re always navigating every day with your kids and trying to understand where they’re at and help them regulate and find out what inspires them,’ Rose said.

Bobby then added: ‘I have three sons. Rose and I have two sons together and I have an almost 30-year-old son, so I have a lot of experience looking into these guys’ eyes. It’s funny, Rose just used the word “regulate” because that’s a popular word right now in our house, trying to figure out how to get them to regulate… it’s a lot of, “eyes here, eyes here please.”‘

‘It’s just a juggle. Our kids are 20 months apart, so it’s constantly dealing with competition and one will take one for a walk and the other one takes the other one to the other room and tries to conflict resolve that way.’

‘We just try to stay on the same page as much as you can and then talk about it, like probably most people do at the end of the night,’ Bobby continued.

‘You’re sitting there and putting your cream on your elbows, “hey, what about that thing that happened”… that’s me by the way!’ he laughed as he imitated moisturising his elbows before adding: ‘And you do the recap at the end of the night.’

Rose and Bobby, who welcomed their sons in February 2016 and November 2017, are notoriously private about their family life but they did reference their boys in a December 2019 interview with Vanity Fair when they spoke about why they work together so often.

The duo, who already refer to each other as ‘husband’ and ‘wife’ play a divorced couple in the new movie Ezra, which also stars Robert De Niro, Whoopi Goldberg, and William A. Fitzgerald.

The couple, who have been in a relationship since 2012 and share two sons, have worked together on several occasions on films such as Adult Beginners, Spy, and Seriously Red.

Prior to meeting Bobby, Rose was in a relationship with Australian actor Brendan Cowell for over six years, but they parted ways in January 2010.

Meanwhile, Bobby was married to actress/screenwriter Jenny Lumet from 1994 to 2003 and the couple had a son named Jake, who is now 30 and works as an actor.

Bobby and Rose welcomed their first son Rocco in 2016, and their second son Rafael the following year.
