While at the Emmy Awards in September, The Studio made history by scoring a whopping 13 gongs, breaking the all-time record for most wins for a comedy series.
Production kicked off in January, but just a few weeks into shooting and the series was hit by the devastating news of Catherine O'Hara's tragic death.

Following the shocking and devastating loss, the cast cancelled a promotional event and issued a joint statement to Deadline, sharing their heartbreak.
They said: 'We are at a loss for words at the passing of our friend Catherine O'Hara. She was a hero to all of us, and we pinched ourselves every day that we got to work with her on.
'She was somehow classy, warm, and hilarious all at the same time. We're unbelievably saddened she is gone and send our deepest sympathy to Bo and all her family.'
Michael's appearance in The Studio season two comes after he paid tribute to his long-term friend Catherine, with whom he starred in Beetlejuice, in a heartfelt piece for Time Magazine.

He wrote: 'When she talked to you, she talked with you. When you told her a story, she looked right at you and was all in. A twinkle, a light, a glow—I don’t know what the hell it was. To make her laugh was such a joy.
'We had made tentative plans to get together in January. She and her husband Bo were going to come over to the house for dinner. I’m still kind of waiting.'
He ended the heartbreaking piece: 'To have a woman as your friend is a great thing. To have a brilliantly funny woman as your friend is special. To have Catherine O’Hara as your friend is a blessing.
'Among so many great comedians, past and present, Catherine stood out. Comedically? Gold. As a person? Platinum. I’ll have dinner with Bo. You have laughs with John Candy.'
The Studio saw Catherine deliver her final brilliant performance, bringing her signature wit and charm to character Patty, the former studio head and mentor to Seth's character.
And earlier this month, her talents were rewarded when she posthumously won the Actor Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series.
Seth stepped in to accept the gong on behalf of the late star, calling it a 'very sad honour' as he delivered a heartfelt tribute that brought the audience to tears.
The Knocked Up star hailed Catherine as a performer who commanded respect and admiration from her peers, as the Hollywood crowd rose to their feet in a standing ovation.
'I know she would have been humbled to receive this award from her fellow performers, who she admired so much,' he said, his voice breaking as the camera panned to a tearful Kathryn.

He continued: 'I, obviously, have been reflecting on the time I was fortunate enough to spend with her and working with her, and something that I've just been marveling at over the last few weeks was really her ability to be generous and kind and gracious, while never, ever minimizing her own talents and her own ability to contribute to the work that we were doing.
'She knew she could destroy, and she wanted to destroy every day on set.'
'She really showed that you can be a genius and be kind, and one of those things does not have to come at the expense of the other in any way, shape or form,' Seth went on.
Concluding the moving tribute, he urged the audience to share Catherine's work with anyone who hadn't yet experienced it.
He said: 'So I guess I'll just leave you with this. If you have people in your lives that don't know her work, if they're kids in your lives, or just people who are out of touch or stupid or something, just show them O'Hara dancing to Harry Belafonte and Beetlejuice.
'Show them O'Hara hurting her knee in Best in Show and doing that amazing thing where she hobbles around.
'And tell the people, as they are laughing, that that's Catherine O'Hara, and we were lucky that we got to live in a world where she so generously shared her talents with us.'
