He revealed in a statement in June that the company – who already own the rights to music by Bruce Springsteen and Justin Bieber – was not the right holders of his legacy’.
The new deal with Iconic Artists – who also own David Crosby’s catalogue and have a major stake in The Beach Boys – includes his entire publishing catalog and recorded music, as well as some name and likeness rights.
Having sold more than 120 million records worldwide over his six-decade-spanning career, Rod has had ten number one albums and 31 top-ten singles in the UK.
