The This Morning presenter, 34, took to Instagram in tears as she waved bye to her first-born, 11, as she departed her school on a coach.
Rochelle admitted it was an ’emotional Humes household’ as her other two children Valentina, seven, and Blake, three, also cried on the way to school after saying bye to their sister.
Speaking from her car alongside Marvin, 39, Rochelle said: ‘We have had so many tears this morning and I have only literally just stopped crying.
‘We have just waved Alaia off on the school coach, she’s going to France until Friday evening.

‘I will never get used to this, like ever, ever, ever. She was fine and she was with her bestie and they have a matching tracksuit on and matching hairstyles and everything.
‘Then she sat on the coach and I could see through the window she was crying.’
Rochelle went on to explain how Valle [Valentina] will be lost without her older sister as the girls normally share a room and bed together.
She continued: ‘Valle was crying going into school then Blake was crying. Everyone’s going to be split up the next few days.
‘So yeah, it’s been an emotional Humes household this morning.
‘Because I didn’t want her to see I was crying I held it together, I was like “you’re fine darling, you’re fine” like really trying not to and as soon as it pulled away like ugly ugly tears.
‘Valle and Alaia share a room, they share a bed in fact. Like they’re super close so I think little Valle’s going to feel it this week isn’t she. So yeah it’s been a full on little morning.’
It comes after Rochelle opened up on her marriage to Marvin and revealed the pair have a special ‘rule’, to help juggle their personal and professional lives.

The former Saturdays singer, who tied the knot with Marvin in July 2012 at Blenheim Palace, explained that their romantic and parenting relationship is built on communication firstly.
Speaking to Women’s Health, she said: ‘If I’m p****d off, I’m telling him; if he’s p****d off, he’s telling me. We’re not mind readers.
‘We know we love each other and all of that…But there’s a lot that comes in the middle of that – three kids, work, life…’
She explained that they have a rule that they cannot both ‘shine at once’ so that one of them is able to focus on parenting.
Rochelle said: ‘We’ve always had this rule that we can’t both shine at once. So, if he’s on tour, I’m gonna pull back…I’m on the school run – because we always make sure it’s one of us on the school run – and working in the school hours.’
She also discussed balancing motherhood with her business career, while admitting she never thought she would have kids until her mid-thirties.
She said: ‘Whenever I had a baby, I think it shocked my friendship group a little bit. I probably didn’t think I’d have kids till about now – and I’m about to turn 35…
‘You can never plan these things. Like my mum says, “Make a plan; God laughs…”.”[It’s] like we’re the Spice Girls. In your friendship group, everyone has to be one – “she’s the flirty one! She’s the career girl! She’s the homemaker!” Who says that you can’t have an empire and have a family?’
