Robyn and Kody Brown had a marked disagreement after he referred to one of his past spouses as a ‘s*** sister wife’ during Sister Wives Talk Back: Part 1, which aired on Friday.
During the episode, the husband-and-wife duo watched a segment from the program’s 18th season, during which his ex-wives Janelle and Christine discussed their respective plans for Christmas.
The 54-year-old media personality, who has ‘no desire’ to reconcile with his first wife, then gave his opinion about why the former of the two had chosen to keep to herself during the holiday season.
Kody, a prominent polygamist, stated via People: ‘Janelle doesn’t want to have Christmas with Merri and with Robyn and with me, she would rather have Christmas with Christine, so she’s making this excuse with the boys.’
The television figure went on to state that his former spouse was trying to ‘make me look bad’ and accused her of attempting to ‘destroy my character with my family.’

Kody’s wife continued by stating ‘You always point out the sister wife relationships, and never talk about your actual issues with wives’
Brown, a polygamist, has maintained a total of four relationships, and his union with Janelle lasted from 1993 until 2022, when they went their separate ways.
The media figure’s marriage to Christine was slightly shorter, as it ran from 1994 until 2021.
He concluded by describing Janelle, 54, as ‘a s*** sister wife,’ after which Robyn, 45, came to her defense and told him to ‘stop pointing fingers at sister wives.’
Kody’s wife continued: ‘You always point out the sister wife relationships, and never talk about your actual issues with wives.’
The television personality also defended his position and insisted that the group ‘had a family that was working together.’
He added: ‘They’re trying to blame you, they’re trying to blame me. And all those years in Vegas, we were all working together.’
