Robert Pattinson has opened up about life as a new dad – making a rare comment about fatherhood.
The Batman actor, 38, welcomed his first child with model fiancée Suki Waterhouse in March last year and has now admitted parenthood has surprised him in ways he never imagined.
Speaking to ICON magazine, he revealed he has found joy in parenthood.
‘I have so much more patience,’ he explained. ‘It’s funny, it’s not even patience; I genuinely enjoy hanging out with babies. That surprised me.’
The actor has largely kept his daughter out of the public eye, but his candid words offered a glimpse into his new life away from the cameras.
The Brit star, who made his name in Twilight, has also grown fascinated by the fashion world and its relentless pace.

‘I don’t think anybody works harder than designers,’ he added. ‘It’s the most intense schedule that I’ve ever seen.
‘You’ve got to be, like, Superman to be able to function at that level.’
Robert, who is a regular face of Dior demonstrated his irresistible charm while posing for Icon’s latest issue.
The cameras got up close and personal with the actor as he put his chiseled features on display in a number of quirky shots by Ryan McGinley.
In a few of the images, Robert could be seen sporting bare feet as he writhed around in an open field of grass, whilst wearing a buttoned up black shirt and trousers.
Another picture zoomed in close to reveal his porcelain skin and an almost-invisible touch of emerging stubble.
The artsy shoot also featured Robert in a pair of jeans with a matching denim jacket, whilst his brown locks, looked effortlessly wild and unkempt.

In one image he showed off his flawless model looks, as he stared straight down the camera, holding an unusual pose and casually lay inside a tree trunk for the other.

His final image saw him wearing a denim shirt over the top of a grey T-shirt, as she stood underneath a pink flower bush, with the florals acting as a crown.
Suki announced the couple were expecting in November 2023, in a sweet pregnancy reveal during her performance at the Corona Capital Festival.
The Daisy Jones & the Six actress dressed in a sparkly pink minidress adorned in glitter and feathers, told the crowd: ‘I’m extra sparkly today because I thought it might distract you from something else that’s going on.’
She then opened up her coat, revealing her baby bump as the crowd cheered. ‘I’m not sure if it’s working,’ she joked before starting to sing.

The couple shared their first photo of their newborn daughter a few months as Suki and her daughter appeared on the cover of British Vogue.
Earlier this year, Robert admitted that he had become obsessed with his child’s smell and could identify her by her scent alone.
He told Vogue: ‘I remember people used to be like, ‘Oh, don’t you like the smell of babies?’, but I thought they were just smelling the baby powder.
‘But then I had a baby, and I was like, “My baby smells incredible.”‘
He added: ‘There’s something there, I can identify her. She doesn’t smell like other babies.’
