Robert Irwin is raking in the big bucks after signing several lucrative presenting gigs, each paying hundreds of thousands of dollars.
The conservationist, 20, is one of Australia’s most in-demand talents and currently host Channel Ten’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Australia and fronts a QLD tourism campaign.
‘Robert can basically name his price for work right now. His brand, both as a TV talent and a advertising influencer, is in white-hot demand,’ an insider told this week’s New Idea magazine.
Robert was paid $400,000 to host I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! – with his price tag rumoured to double when he returns to the show next year.
He also earned $200,000 to appear in a minute-long Twisties commercial and a similar pay check to appear in a Queensland tourism campaign alongside Bluey.
All up, Robert is rumoured to be worth just over $3million, with his net worth set to increase if he accepts new high-paying gigs.
The insider added that Robert was seen as being one of the most trusted celebrities out there, so brands were paying big money to have his name attached to their product.
‘If Robert endorses something, people will inevitably believe it’s trustworthy and legitimate,’ they said.

‘He is already well on the way to making a fortune as a TV star – but he can supplement that income by commanding huge fees from advertisers as well.’
They added that Robert was incredibly business-savvy and his strategy of accepting several different paid projects at once was to ensure he was financially secure for the foreseeable future.
‘TV is a tough landscape at the best of times. It would be wise for Robert not to put all his work-related eggs in one basket,’ the source said.
