Robert Irwin has felt the wrath of Vegemite’s official Instagram account on Monday, after he called a plate of croissants the ‘breakfast of champions’ in a post.
The wildlife star, 19, shared a slew of images showing the baked treats along with two pots of butter and a cup of tea sitting at breakfast.
While some of his fans loved Robert’s selection of pastries, others said in the comments that it was ‘not healthy’.
But it was the yeast spread brand Vegemite who took the most umbrage, seemingly disappointed that Robert didn’t chose Vegemite for brekky.
In the images, Robert smiled as he sat at the breakfast table alongside girlfriend Rorie Buckey, who was also tagged in the post.

The official account of the iconic Aussie breakfast spread wrote: “We’re not angry, just disappointed’ with a laughing face emoji next to it.
The comment was ‘loved’ by 119 fans, who saw the funny side of the playful ribbing.
Vegemite is an iconic Australian spread, first sold in stores in 1923.
It is made of yeast extract and a number of spice additives, and often compared to its British counterpart, Marmite.
It comes amid more personal news for Robert, who could be planning on popping the question to girlfriend, Rorie.

According to New Idea magazine this week, Robert could propose when his girlfriend, visits him in Africa while he films I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!
‘Everyone is convinced he is aiming to pop the question when they’re in Africa,’ an insider told the publication.
‘Robert is crazy about her and is planning something unforgettable when he formally proposes. They both know it is part of their plans so he’s been dreaming up special ways to make it a surprise.’
The source went on to say Robert and Rorie are taking their relationship ‘very serious’ and have been planning a future together.

‘They have talked about where to live and even how big they want their family to be,’ they added.
Robert and Rorie went Instagram official in August, after months of rumours they were seeing each other.
Rorie reportedly completed an Irwin-approved ‘wildlife warrior boot camp’ before she and Robert became an official couple.
Woman’s Day claimed last month that Rorie had to win over the family by having a willingness to get out into nature.

The pair are currently in a long-distance relationship, with Robert based at Australia Zoo in Queensland while Rorie is in Perth.
Robert and Rorie, who is the niece of legendary Australian actor Heath Ledger, have plenty in common and both grew up in the public eye after suffering the devastating loss of a family member.
Heath was at the top of his Hollywood career when he was found dead in January 2008 following an accidental prescription drug overdose.
Robert’s father, Steve Irwin, known to the world as the ‘Crocodile Hunter’, died aged 44 on September 4, 2006, after being pierced in the chest by a stingray.
