Robert Irwin is working hard to get into shape ahead of his upcoming stint on Dancing with the Stars US.
And even for the young crocodile hunter, it’s proving to be tough.
On Tuesday, the celebrity conservationist, 21, shared a clip to social media which captured him trying to recover after a gruelling rehearsal session.
Robert was seen hyperventilating as he lay on his back on the floor in a dance studio, trying hard to catch his breath.
His US dance partner Witney Carson was heard off-camera, cheekily remarking: ‘I’ve killed him!’
Fortunately, Robert reassured her that he was fine, with: ‘No, you haven’t’.

He captioned the clip with some amusing words: ‘Post rehearsals mood’ and added a laughing emoji.
It comes after Robert revealed his new dance partner for the upcoming season of DWTS US, and there’s one particularly surprising detail about the blonde beauty.
Witney Carson, a professional Latin ballroom dancer and choreographer, bears a striking resemblance to Robert’s ex-girlfriend Rorie Buckey.
The 31-year-old, who was announced as the conservationist’s dance partner this week, shares the same warm smile and sun-kissed locks as Robert’s former flame.
Witney also appears to have similar facial features to Rorie, 21, who is the niece of actor Heath Ledger.
Robert, who split from Rorie in February 2024, was all smiles as he posed next to his dance partner in a gallery of images shared to Instagram on Friday.
In his typical Wildlife Warrior style, Robert was holding an enormous white and yellow python around his body.
Witney also got in on the fun, smiling as she cuddled up to Robert in a form-fitting pink dress, letting the snake’s tail wrap around her torso.

The caption simply read, ‘Robert & Witney,’ with a snake and star emoji next to it, along with the hashtag ‘#DWTS’.
Robert is set to star in the upcoming American season of Dancing with the Stars, competing against celebrities such as actor Corey Feldman and fitness expert Hilaria Baldwin.
His stint on the series was announced in April, following his smouldering American ad campaign for Bonds.
The Aussie TV star was officially confirmed to be appearing on the show by Variety, and appeared in high spirits as he landed in Los Angeles ahead of filming.
Robert’s appearance on the competitive dancing series marks a decade since his sister Bindi’s triumphant win on the show in 2015 alongside her dancing partner Derek Hough.
The upcoming series of DWTS US will premiere on Tuesday, September 16, on Disney+.
