Robert Irwin has been confirmed for the world’s biggest tourism event in Perth.
Following the likes of former US President Barack Obama and adventurer Bear Grylls, the conservationist, 20, will be a keynote speaker at the 2024 World Travel & Tourism Council Global Summit in October.
Mr Obama, 62, survival expert Grylls, 49, and French President Emmanuel Macron, 46, have all spoken at previous year’s events.
Robert is the first major speaker to be announced for this year’s three-day summit where he will join tourism industry leaders from organisations including Emirates, Etihad Airlines, Expedia and Visa.
The 20-year-old is globally famous for his preservation and zookeeping work.

Robert, alongside his mother, Terri, and sister, Bindi, have worked hard at preserving Steve Irwin’s conservation legacy at Australia Zoo in the years since he passed.
He has also carved out a hugely successful TV presenting career for himself.
WA Tourism Minister Rita Saffioti said she is ‘excited’ to have secured the famous zookeeper for the summit.

‘Robert Irwin is a household Australian name so we’re very excited to have secured him for this prestigious event,’ she said.
‘Robert’s passion for wildlife and nature definitely make him an ideal speaker for this event, and I have no doubt he’ll be a major drawcard for attendees,’ Saffioti continued.
The global summit will be themed Ancient Land: New Perspectives, which will showcase the natural beauty and Aboriginal cultural heritage of Western Australia.
It will be held at Crown Perth from October 8-10.
