Robbie Williams Confuses Fans with Lengthy Instagram Rivalry Post

Robbie Williams left his fans amused and scratching their heads on Monday as he took to Instagram to share a bizarre lengthy statement where he pitted rival boybands against each other.

The Let Me Entertain You singer, 51, jotted down his thoughts in a lengthy note before uploading it to his official Instagram in nine images.

In it, Robbie called for all boyband members’ attention and pondered what would happen if there was a Ryder Cup-style tournament for the groups.

He explained the reason for penning the post is because his algorithm showed him a video of streamer and comedian Limmy being asked who would win in a fight between East 17 and Take That.

He said: ‘It got me thinking across all of boy-band-land, who’s the hardest individual? Who’s the most game? Which group is the toughest unit?’

Starting by comparing East 17 and Take That together, he said: ‘Howard (Donald) is bricks. I was on Human Growth Hormone and I still couldn’t beat Howard in an Arm Wrestle.* I didn’t lose though. It was draw BUT if it was the Olympics I’d have been disqualified.

‘Jason (Orange) would be relentless; strong and awkward. Gary (Barlow) was the UK’s youngest black belt (true story).

‘And unbelievably, I’m Take That’s tallest member. Yes… cue the member jokes. But honestly I was shocked too. I’m also a lump. Maybe a useless lump, but still a lump.

‘Fight card: Howard vs Tony Mortimer Today? Howard all day. Tony did some martial arts (I think), but Howard was a panel beater by day. Ballroom dancer by night.  That’s man-strength + lithe dexterity. And he’s kept his physique. Howard for the win.’

He continued by pitting each member of the groups against each other before revealing he rang Blue’s Anthony Costa who was keen for the job, as well as Lee Ryan, while Simon Webbe would ‘handle business’.

Robbie’s bizarre post went on as he imagined what a ‘Boyband Ryder Cup Death Match’ would look like between Europe and the USA.

He compared New Kids On The Block, 98 Degrees, Boyz II before moving onto Europe, telling fans he’d set the members of Boyzone ‘on any other boyband’.

‘Boyzone would beat Take That in a fight – no offence Westlife, I love you – but Boyzone would also batter you,’ he wrote.

However, he added they would only stand a chance if Brian McFadden – who quit in 45 – rejoined.

Robbie finished his post: ‘Now all we need is official confirmation from every boyband member worldwide.

‘And listen, this isn’t about violence. It’s about legacy. It’s about honour. It’s about settling the arguments that nobody was having until I started them.

‘History will decide. Or it won’t because this is completely imaginary and my wife has already asked me twice why I’m still typing.’

Fans flooded him with replies: ‘I am not sure if this is a midlife crisis or some kind of breakdown but either way please make it happen and I’d like to nominate some charities you can raise money for when you step into the ring! Also, I am writing down ‘meat lighthouse’ and ‘human doorway’ because that’s bloody hilarious!’;

‘Think i just woke up and read my own fever dream’; ‘You have no idea how much I love it when you post these nutty ideas. Absolutely made my day.’

Earlier this month Robbie admitted to a disgusting act he does on stage while performing to thousands of fans.

Speaking to The Sun, he confessed: ‘I have done public farts and I do quite a few on stage and they are, for I would say about five seconds, one of life’s greatest pleasures.

‘You’ll be up there singing a ballad or, ‘I just wanna (fart noise) feel real love’ and everybody’s having this moment and you’re like . . . sniff . . . ‘Fill the home that I live in . . . ‘

‘Then all of a sudden you’ll think, ‘One of the dancers is going to walk through that.’

It comes after Robbie revealed his fears that weight loss jabs are ‘making him blind’ after noticing his vision rapidly deteriorating, in a worrying health update.

The star said his eyesight has become increasingly blurry in recent months due to Mounjaro, admitting it’s now affecting him on stage.

He has even struggled to see people’s faces during emotional moments in his live shows.

The former Take That star has now said he wants to alert others of possible side effects and encourage people to ‘research properly’ before starting similar injections.

Robbie explained to The Sun that he first noticed something was wrong when he attended an American football game and couldn’t make out individual players, describing them as ‘just shapes on the field’.

He has since visited an optician and been prescribed new glasses, although he initially didn’t connect the issue to his injections.

Opening up, he revealed: ‘I was quite an early adapter of the jabs but what I’m also noticing is that my eyesight’s not very good.

‘It’s been blurry for a while now, and it’s only getting worse. I don’t believe it’s age; I believe it’s the jabs.’
