Charles Melton and Chloe Bennet quietly broke off their romance towards the end of ‘last year’ after they were first romantically linked in spring 2023.
The Riverdale actor, 33 – who recently starred alongside Julianne Moore and Natalie Portman in Netflix’s May December – was last seen with the Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. actress, 31, back in August of last year.
At the time, the pair had attended a Taylor Swift concert at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles and were spotted strolling side-by-side outside of the large venue.
Sources confirmed the split to TMZ in an article published on Friday, however, it is unknown what had sparked the breakup.
Last month in January, Bennet notably was seen hanging out with The Bear star, Lionel Boyce, but insiders informed the outlet that the two are only close pals.

Charles and Chloe were initially romantically linked last year in May as they enjoyed a relaxing outing together in Beverly Hills.
In photos obtained by People at the time, the actor affectionately draped his arm over her shoulders as they strolled underneath the bright sunshine.
Following the excursion, a source revealed to the outlet that, ‘they’ve been quietly dating for a few months.’
Later that summer, Melton and Bennet – who kept their relationship mainly private and out of the spotlight – were spotted attending Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concert in L.A. together.
Charles also previously dated his Riverdale co-star, Camila Mendes, from 2018 until they separated the following year in 2019.
An insider told E! News at the time, ‘Cami and Charles have been separated for a few months now. They are taking a break from their relationship.’
‘Their relationship escalated very quickly and they are taking time now to focus on their work and themselves.’ In 2021, they briefly sparked reconciliation rumors when they were spotted spending time together.
He later dated Chase Sui Wonders – whom he met on set of Wake – and the two stars were in a relationship throughout 2022.

In a recent cover story for People this month, Melton opened up about his life when he isn’t on set and said, ‘I have my dog, Neya. I love her.’
While also avoiding a question about what he looks for in a partner, he expressed, ‘I’m just trying to be the best son, the best big brother, the best friend I can be to the people that love me most. That’s where I’m at.’
Charles appeared in the Netflix movie, May December, which was released on the streaming platform last year in May.
The premise is: ‘Twenty years after their notorious tabloid romance gripped the nation, a married couple buckles under pressure when an actress arrives to do research for a film about their past,’ per an IMDB synopsis.
For his performance as Joe Yoo, Melton notably garnered both a Critics Choice and a Golden Globe nomination last month for Best Supporting Actor.
The project – which was directed by Todd Haynes – also received five Independent Spirit Awards nominations, including Best Supporting Performance for Charles.
The annual ceremony is slated to take place later this week on Sunday, February 25 in Santa Monica.

The star also credited his family for keeping him grounded when it came to fame and his success in the entertainment industry.
