Rita Ora Stuns in Thigh-High Boots on Husband’s Lap

Rita Ora sent pulses racing in a black leather ensemble as she shared some candid snaps of her weekend performing at Mighty Hoopla following her latest release.

The singer, 33, who dropped Ask & You Shall Receive earlier this week, also posted a snap to Instagram sitting on her husband Taika Waititi ‘s lap on Thursday.

She looked smitten as she enjoyed a cheeky tipple over the weekend.

The songstress, who tied the knot with Hollywood director Taika, 48, in 2022, shared her favourite moments from this weekend at London’s Might Hoopla festival.

She stunned at London’s Brockwell Park event as she wore a bright yellow raincoat, matching shorts and a white vest top.

Rita also shared a saucy clip of her dancing on stage in a skimpy nude two-piece at the popular weekend event.

As part of her photo dump, the beauty also shared a trendy image of her wearing a colourful pinstripe suit.

Standing in a chic orange yurt, Rita showcased her trendy sense of style with some chunky yellow sliders and a well-used black Birkin bag.

Taking another chance to flaunt her unique fashion sense, the star also shared a candid snap wearing patchwork jeans while shopping in urban boutiques.

Sharing the snaps to her feed, she captioned the album: ‘Nothing better than summer in London. Four days of Ask & You Shall Receive, who’s heard it?!’

Her fun post comes after she was momentarily flummoxed on Sunday after muddling the lyrics to one of her songs while performing at Mighty Hoopla.

Rita confused the words to hit single Anywhere with another track from her back catalogue as she interacted with fans at the event.

Searching for someone to sing the track acapella, Rita walked in front of the stage barrier while asking revellers if they knew the lyrics before handing the microphone to an eager fan, who blurted: ‘I love you Rita!’

The moment appeared to flummox the star, who promptly charged into the lyrics to a completely different track – the Avicii collaboration Lonely Together – after retrieving the mic, before realising her blunder.

‘Oh that’s the wrong song!’ she admitted while regaining her composure.

Rita flaunted her washboard abs and her tattooed toned arms in her perfect summer outfit.

She showed off her racy leather look as she pranced around the stage, flaunting her best dance moves.

Rita finished her outfit with shiny pair of sheer black tights and below-the-knee shiny punk-style black boots.

The Shape Of Me singer began her set with a large trench coat which perfectly matched her tiny shorts, before throwing it off to reveal her tiny hotpants. 

At the performance, Rita performed classics such as Your Song and also debuted Ask And You Shall Receive. 

It was Day 2 of 2 for the annual pop music festival and Rita performed alongside the likes of Jessie Ware, Louise (formerly Louise Redknapp), Rachel Stevens, and Shaznay Lewis.

Rita’s last album was 2023’s You & I which spawned four singles: You Only Love Me, Praising You (featuring Fatboy Slim), Don’t Think Twice, and Shape of Me (featuring Keith Urban).

Rita recently opened up to The Sun about how she and her director husband Taika keep their two-year marriage healthy.

The singer previously told ES Magazine that her friends were concerned they missed her big day, after she and Taika opted to have just eight guests in attendance for their intimate ceremony.

She said at the time: ‘I’ve been in the public eye for a while now and I’ve always given everything I’m part of to the public. It felt nice to have something that was a secret for a bit.

‘A lot of my friends were like ”Oh my God, we’ve missed it’.” I just told them that we will figure something out. It felt chill – because my life is not chill.’

She told The Sun in June: ‘What works is a genuine connection and a real sense of friendship. Communication is key. 

‘Our schedules are crazy busy so it’s just important to talk and that’s what has been working for us.’

The Thor director, 48, has found time to appear in Rita’s new music video Ask & You Shall Receive.

Rita insisted that his brief cameo as an employee in the video, in which she stripped down in a launderette, was not planned. 

She recalled: ‘[Taika] was just hanging out with me and I said, ‘Come on, let’s put you to work, you might as well do a cameo’. It was really cute, not planned.’ 

Rita put on a very leggy display in leather hot pants and crop top which she teamed with towering platforms and outlandish eye make-up for the video.  

Speaking about the latest release Rita said: ‘The song is full of upbeat, summery vibes and is about seizing the moment romantically, and diving straight in with that special someone’. 

‘It was co-written by the amazing Raye, which feels like such a full circle moment, as I have so many amazing memories from when we were on the road together for the Phoenix tour.’

As well as new music, Rita has returned to acting and will appear in Disney’s Descendant’s The Rise Of Red.
