Rita Ora shared a look at her newest career turn on Thursday when she unveiled her costume for Disney’s upcoming Descendants sequel.
The 33-year-old singer and actress stunned in an over-the-top blood-red gown as part of her role as the Queen of Hearts in the musical TV movie Descendants: The Rise Of Red.
In the film, which will air on Disney+ on July 12, Rita plays the mad royal of Lewis Carroll’s iconic novels Alice’s Adventures In Wonderland and Through The Looking-Glass.
The multitalented star — who showcased her astoundingly fit physique just days earlier — plays the villainous mother of the new movie’s title character, Red.
Rita was almost completely covered in her dark red costume, which featured a slim bodice and a bust covered in sheer red lace and left her chest and shoulders mostly exposed.

Rita’s regal gown featured a voluminous satin gown that expanded multiple feet out from her slim figure.
The costume included striking rounded fins covered in ruched fabric that rose up from her shoulders and completed the illusion of a large red heart.
The hitmaker’s arms were covered in sheer red lace decorated with beads and sequins, and one of her hands had long finger gloves covered in sparkling red stones.
Rita wore a paneled neck cuff with a large red heart-shaped pendant dangling from it, and she swapped out her natural hair for a long pin-straight wig in the same shade of red as the rest of her look.
She completed the fantastical look with a large red crown decorated with more costume jewelry.
Rita gazed into the camera severely with her arms akimbo against a black backdrop decorated in falling roses in one photo, but she looked more relaxed and casual in others.
Another image featured her wearing cool red-tinted heart-shaped glasses while back stage, and in other images she grinned for the camera while relaxing in a striped armchair.
‘All hail the Queen of Hearts ❤️ Descendants: #TheRiseOfRed, a Disney Original Movie, is available July 12 on @disneyplus,’ read the caption, which was jointly shared by Rita and the Disney Channel’s account.

In The Rise Of Red, Rita plays the mother of one of the film’s leads.
The Queen of Hearts’ daughter Red (Kylie Cantrall) joins forces with Chloe (Malia Baker), the daughter of Cinderella and King (née Prince) Charming, as they use the White Rabbit’s pocket watch to travel in time to avoid a coup in their fantasy kingdom.
