And Rita Ora was clearly in need of some recovery time the following day, as she shared a video of her relaxing in the pool.
The singer, 33, took to her Instagram on Tuesday to share a slew of snaps from her evening at the annual fashion event in New York City.
After all the glamorous photos showing her posing with famous pals like Shakira, Penelope Cruz, Matt Damon and Cara Delevingne, Rita shared a candid clip of her the day after.
She could be seen sat in a swimming pool, showing off her incredible figure in a skimpy green bikini and sporting undereye patches.

Her sister Elena can be heard laughing while teasing the star, saying: ‘Are you alright? How’s it going for you?’
Captioning the photo dump, Rita said she was ‘still buzzing’ from attending her tenth Met Gala and referencing the funny video, added: ‘Swipe to the end for things you don’t see’.
Her relaxing pool session was definitely earned after Rita proved she was still the ultimate party girl, as she and her husband Taika Waiti didn’t return to their hotel until 5am after a wild all-nighter on Monday.
The couple were spotted heading up to their room at The Mark Hotel in the early hours, with the director wrapping an arm around his wife as she attempted to preserve her modesty by covering her chest.
Rita had set pulses racing earlier in her very scantily-clad look as she headed out to the after parties with Taika following the glitzy event.
She ditched her bra in a completely see-through feathered gown that left her ample cleavage on full display.
The skirt consisted of little more than strings of white plastic beads, with a few oversized flowers to cover her bottom half.

Arriving on the red carpet, the Body On Me singer put on a very daring display in a sheer nude bodysuit under an intricately beaded dress, left open at the sides.
Flaunting her incredibly toned physique, Rita forewent underwear and a bra, while Taika showed himself the gentleman as he helped arrange her dress’ train.
Rita explained that she had wanted to celebrate women’s existence with her look and that beauty can ‘stand the test of time’.
She also revealed the beading on the dress dates back to 1st and 2nd century BC and is sourced from all over the world, saying: ‘I think some of these beads are older than people on the planet.’
She told Entertainment Tonight: ‘Hi guys, I’m wearing a necklace this year at the Met. This is about the beauty of the body and women’s existence and presence.
‘[It’s about] not doing as much but also doing a lot, you see what I mean? And these beads are from actually second century BC.’

Taika was then asked what he made of his wife’s look and hailed the ensemble as ‘incredible’ before adding: ‘I looked at all the details of every bead, thousands of years.’
But Rita admitted while she had planned the outfit out extensively, she had failed to think about the practicalities of going to the bathroom and had no spare clothes to change into.
She confessed: ‘No, I don’t [have anything else], I also didn’t think about the bathroom so I might just have to poke a hole in the stocking!’
