Rising star and singer, 33, sells out major venue on UK tour and has a VERY famous mother – but can you guess who?

This rising singer-songwriter has a very famous mother – and you might just recognise her from your TV screen.

She first became a household name as Tracey Stubbs in the beloved sitcom Birds Of A Feather, a role she originally played from 1989 to 1998 before reprising it in 2014.

Beyond sitcoms, she’s graced the big screen too, starring in movies like Anuvahood, where she played the no-nonsense mother Pauline.

And if you’re a fan of reality TV, you might remember her from the twelfth series of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! where she braved the jungle and finished in ninth place.

But now, it’s her son who’s stepping into the spotlight with sold out shows across the UK.

The 33-year-old took to Instagram on Wednesday to reveal his upcoming gig at Alexandra Palace in London was nearly sold out.

He said: ‘Hello people. Happy New Year, I hope you’re well. Just kicking off 2025 by letting you all know that we have almost sold out Ally Pally. 

‘It’s over 99% sold. I’m not allowed to tell you how many tickets are left, it’s under fifty. We are nearly in single digits. 

‘So this is your last warning if you want to come and you ain’t got a ticket yet, grab them while you can because it might be your last chance. 

‘If this sells out, there’s going to be ten thousand of us under one roof, which is just fu**ing mental. 

‘I can’t think about it too much because I’ll have a panic attack. We’ve almost done it, the biggest show I’ll ever play. 

‘So if you want to come, grab a ticket now and I will see you very soon. Happy New Year, be lucky, ta-ra!’

The gig is now sold out at the time of writing this.

In support of his debut album, Be Lucky, Louis will commence on a spring tour where he will perform in 15 cities across the UK and Dublin.

Last year, mum Linda sent shockwaves around Twitter when football fans learnt she has a very famous singer son. 

The Loose Women panelist, who has lived in Islington her whole life, was seen weeping as the song played prior to Arsenal’s defeat of Bournemouth.

The actress was married to husband Mark from 1990 to 2023, when she announced they were parting ways because they ‘wanted different lifestyles’. 

She said in November: ‘We had some good years, but enough is enough’.

Linda has spoken frequently about Louis in the past. Back in March 2023, she revealed her children became her carers when she became ‘so low she couldn’t be left alone.’

She overcame an addiction to alcohol as well as struggles with depression and OCD, leading to three stints in rehab.

Linda explained: ‘My children were my carers when I was mentally ill. There was a point when I got so low I couldn’t be left alone…

‘I wasn’t allowed to see my grandchildren until I was better. It was four years ago now and they still say ”mum I’m so glad you are better, we never thought we’d get you back.”

She explained her anxiety stems back to 2008, when Louis, now 31, had been out with friend Ben Kinsella the night Ben was stabbed and died at the scene.

Linda is also mother to two daughters Lauren, 42, and Roberta, 29 – and struggled with anxiety as well as OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder).

The Birds Of A Feather star has also spoken about her trust issues after a partner of 11 years cheated on her.

Prior to marrying Mark, Linda was in a relationship with Tony Tyler for 11 years and they welcomed daughter Lauren in 1983.

Their relationship was plagued with woes, however, and she told the Loose Women audience in 2017: ‘I caught my ex several times cheating on me — even when I was pregnant with Lauren…

‘Once I was away and Lauren was away with me. When I got back, everything seemed fine in the flat. 

‘But when I went to go to bed that night, I moved the pillow and there was a tissue with lipstick on it, and long blonde hairs.’
